  2. Just a idea for you I am not saying its the best technique but I use a metal plaster trial you know the big 8 inch wide scraper , I dont know the exact name but I hope you get the idea Its a pretty nice tool for getting the entire cut in one shot wasnt meant for it but sure works good for me . The only problem I usualy have is getting the vinyl off the transfer paper if I do wet app , just a little more time but perfect job no bubbles and very forgiving with placement .
  3. You could definitley swing that! If you look at the pictures you could see in the front of the trailer is where the "wood desk" are built in , The first table you see in the picture folds up and the plotter actually stays where it is if you can see on the floor there are two boxes marked that is for each wheel of the first bike and the second bike goes where the folding table is , Once I get to where I am going both bikes come out I work a little and play a little , My duaghter rides a 110cc mini atv no gears shes only 4 and I have it limited , and I still have my first bike the 87 YZ125 that I use to go on weekend trail rides with her. I hope you do well and if you have any questions at all about setting it up feel free to email me anytime! Just a bunch of wood some screws nails white paint electrical wiring nothing you cant finish up in a few days and I cut the hole for the ac pretty much perfect size with the wood inside also it doesnt even move . Best of luck with the build Im glad seeing mine helped and got your brain in overdrive
  4. My trailer is 6x10 and I am 6'2 240 I could stand up fully without hunching over it give me just enough height , and as far as moving around it there isnt much I have to move around for really just from the laptop to the plotter and then the second table to finish up and place the transfer tape on the vinyl . I put a seat in there for the customer and they sit while I work. If you have a 7x16 trailer you would have a actual shop bigger then some shops here in brooklyn ny and plenty of room to move around in it . Im sure you fit a nice amount of quads in there I could only imagine because I had a open 6x12 that we fit 3 quads on a 400ex ,and 2 banshees Yea I like the 4 stroke dont kill me lol
  5. It is nailed down to the floor and doesnt move , actually the only thing that does move every once in a while is some of the supplies I have like the applicator fluid and a few boxes I have under the table , everything else I have set up with intentions of it getting shaken around so I made sure it wont move unless you want to take it out. I never had any problems with things moving , oh sorry the one thing I do bungee to the wall is the drop light I have that swings just so I dont break the bulb. Im asking cheap for it on $5000 I made my money back allready so I think that is a fair price for everything. I posted the pics just so maybe one you out there could use it as a base for your project like I did when I first seen it and hopefully you can improve on the idea. I raced mostly at the Poconos race track and actually went into road racing after ATV and DIrtbike riding for so many years I beat myself up way too bad and my body couldnt take the constant abuse ( Ok I fall a lot lol) my knees were shot from jumps and living here in Brooklyn NY I have to drive at the least 2 hours to go dirt riding , but that is where my heart is! I stopped racing about 4 years ago once my wife and I had a daughter I still do track days here and there but nothing competitve and I still ride the streets here in NY so thats about as dangerous as racing but like I said I live to ride. Im building a chopper now and just need a few bucks to finish it up thats why I am selling all my money is tied up in the new business and my toys have to come out of my own pocket not the family account if you know what I mean. What a bunch of realy nice and helpful people on here I wish I found the site years ago!
  6. Actually I used to race motorcycles and went to the track one day and seen this guy doing decals for bikes , I got my bike done and loved it loved it loved it! It was way cheaper then getting my bike painted with everything I wanted. Over the next few weeks I talked with the guy and he was nice enough to tell me all about the business and I used his trailer as a base for mine , his trailer was much more simple and did not have airconditioning , or anything that I put in to make myself comfortable like the TV , The AC, I built the first workstation where I have the regular printer , my laptop and the tv and I used a folding table for cutting and transfering so I could fold it up and still fit two bikes in the trailer I would bring my race bike and my street bike , In between the insulation , the wood for the walls , the floor I put down (linoleum), The lighting (flourecent) The outlets and electric and all of the equipment I spent just a little over 12k including the trailer laptop and software and plotter , Its nothing fancy but sure does get the job done, by the looks of things I have no where close to the skill some of you have on here and I have still been able to make money , I wish I had someone to work the trailer and I wouldnt get rid of it but I just opened a Bike lounge so I have no more time to do this but if it wasnt for this business I wouldnt be opening my second one! Thanks for the compliment it really has been fun doing this because I get to stay around the thing I love BIKES and CARS and the DVD selling Idea came from when I would work I would have the videos on with the surround sound blasting and it would attract people to the trailer , then some guy asked what video I was watching and offered me $20 for my copy After that I went on ebay and got myself a "lot" of 100 stunt videos for $125 shipped to my door sold those for $15 each or 2 for $20 and they went faster then I thought.
  7. I am sorry I did not read from the last post I read the first page as the last and see that you did go for it thats GREAT!!! I did not have a booth I stayed in my trailer I am 6'2 and stand up and move around fine in there plus I have a airconditioner so I just plug my trailer in put the ac on go eat breakfast come back and its comfortable all day long , I dont have a printer able to do t-shirts but I do have a surround sound dvd player with a small TV that I play stunt dvd's while customers wait or choose what they like and I would sell the dvd's that were playing because the customer just watched half the video . Just some ideas for you hope it helps , I never break a sweat until the installation so I started to bring a huge umbrella to keep the sun off of me I tried to insert two pics so you have a idea maybe it will help you with what you are doing. Very cool and keep it up !
  8. Hey Joe I am new to the forum but I have set up a 6x10 trailer and I havent done flea markets but I have done Car shows , Bike shows / Bike nights and race tracks , At the car shows most the people want letters, words and tribal decals , same thing on the bikes but at the race track I do a lot of names and numbers . I opened a new business so if you are interested in something like I have let me know I am selling the entire set up and I dont know how well it will do in a flea market because I do not know what type of customers are there but all I do is Vinyl decals and it has done good for me being mobile , I put my motorcycle in the back of the trailer drive down to florida and get to vacation , work and still come back with money in my pocket I think the mobile end of it is great. RoadReapers@msn.com if you have any interest and by all means Good luck with your idea !
