How do i know where my cut will start on my paper - is there a way to setup the cut to start lets say at 1 inch from the side of the paper I am using 8 inche wide paper and want to make sure my cut stays in the paper.

I want to copy one object to another file - I have opened both files, I select the item i want to copy and hit copy, but when i paste on the other file nothing shows up???

Yes and when i click on it i can cut it by itself but not together with the original drawing - is there a way to combine them into one cut?

It shows up - but it doesnt cut - the original picture i made does cut but not the new picture. When i click on cut - in the top left corner it shows my orignal object, and then it shows my new object - but the new object has an X on it??

I drew a box on my screen - How do i vectorize that shape and cut it.

I am new to this and am making stencils to paint lettering and graphics. Where is a good place to buy Paint Mask Vinyl ? Can i get it online? My stencils are small - 3-4 inches long and 1-2 inches tall. gw

My stencils are about 2-3 inches long by 1 inch height. I just got my cutter, and was able to successfully cut a stencil that looks good. Does anyone have any advise that can help me. 1) What type of vinyl can be reused? 2) What is the best way to weed something that small? 3) Any general advise is welcome The cutter and the SBE software works great (it did take me a good 4-5 hours to learn how to setup and make my first cutting)

I am new to the refine cutter - i have both a pen and a cutter. What is the ideal way to set the blade to get the best cut. So far i am just adjusting up and down a bit until it looks right...........but my guess is there is a better way?

Thanks - that makes sense now that i zoom - i can see how to edit. The box always wants to cut - maybe i set it somehow - how do i unset it?
