Yes the usb cable is set to com1 the computer is configured to that com port as well

Hi I have been trying to get my new pcut ct630 to work now since I received it last week. I have made sure all the com ports were correct, and made sure the flow control was set to hardware. I am now starting to think there is a problem with the sign cut program. has anyone else experienced any problems with signcutx2? If so, how did you resolve the problem? thanks. I am very puzzled.

Hello; Like Abbitt, I also just received my ct 630 pcutter. I am having problems with getting the computer to talk to the cutter. I have tried using both cables, usb and the other one, with no luck. I have tried every thing listed in the forums but have still not been able to get the computer to talk to the cutter. Only once did the cutter react and that time it shot the vinyl out one end of the cutter and sent the knife to the far end of the galaxy. Can some one please help me. I have been working on this since last Friday. Thanks

Hi. I am new to this forum. It appears I am not the only one that did not receive a material holder with my pcut. I would also like to know how many software disks are supposed to come with the plotter, a ct 630. I received only one disk. I will probably be making posts to some of the other subjects as well, I am having a number of issues.
