  1. You'll want to becareful, MOPAR is a trademark and copywritten and you can get into serious trouble producing and selling such items. Does look cool though.

    Not completeing cuts

You want to look for an overcut option. Not sure if SCALP has that or not.
  3. The static build up is from the vinyl so not having a stand doesn't solve the problem. The reason you ground the stand is the vinly is in contact with the stand so the static can discharge through the stand to the ground. If you don't have a stand and you believe static is a problem you can ground the vinyl directly. Any metal making contacct with the vinyl and then a ground point will work. Static sensitive manufactures use something like this on carts. The floors in the buildings are typically coated with a conductive coating and the carts have a small chain that hang from them and drag on the flow thereby grounding the cart.

What program are you using? Here's an Inkscape version, just did the standard trace, came out pretty good I think. laughing Buddha.svg

    Problem Cutting

You could always use paper and put a pin in the blade holder. Static could also be an issue. The vinyl can build up a charge and unless it has a place to go it will discharge through the blade. Most people ground their stand/viny holder to the plotter.

    SignCut Pro - Jogging Question

I don't know about SignCut, but in SignBlazer there is an option to minimize X or Y movement. Sounds like you need to turn on the minimize X movement option. Don't know if SignCut has anything like that but you might look around through the menus and see what you can find. Another thing SignBlazer can do is duplicate tiles, so you'd have one number on a tile and tell it to duplicate the tile x number of times. There is also an option to fully cut the tile before moving on to the next. Might also try looking for something like that in SignCut.

Why not go all out and make the table a giant light box as well.
  12. I forget exactly where it is but there is a menu option for inset/outset. Select your font and do an outset on it to get the outline you want.

    Um...Help?

I want to cut this in one color, but am not sure what the best way to do that would be. Looks like a it's going to be hell to weed. my single color option, looks ok, but the multi color version still looks better. I basically added a white outline around the red then converted all the colors to black. logo_BW.eps

    Oralite????? What's the difference

Not sure what exactly the difference is other than what the spec sheet says. As for cutting, I cut some on my MH and didn't have any problems and made some rather small cuts. I did have to adjust the blade out since the stuff is thicker than other vinyl.

Does anyone have an eps of this?

There's also the question of copyright. Found that image a couple places online and it does not appear to be an open license. To be safe you'd be best off creating your own image from scratch and have it be noticably different some how. Stick figures are pretty basic but you could give her a different dress, change the hair, maybe have one arm bent and waving.

That'd be a good image to practice manual trace.

Simple answer yes, technically everything anyone creates is copywritten.

    Need advice please....

You install ghostcript then need to edit a couple of windows path variables. Sounds a little intemidating I agree, but it's actualy very easy. http://www.brighthub.com/multimedia/publishing/articles/81749.aspx

    Need advice please....

You can install ghostscript to allow Inkscape to open eps files and I've recently discovered that a lot of .ai files, if renamed to .eps will open with Inkscape once you have ghostscript setup.

    Graphic Size MH Series Cutter

Someone had a problem like this just recently. They fixed the problem by using a different driver. I don't remember any more details than that but a search on here should find it for you.

    I can not find...

There was one there, 3rd or 4th result I think. Had a bunch of funny colored ghost and at least one blue one.

    Need advice please....

Inkscape while free is pretty powerful and from what I understand does just about everything that the big pay for software packages does in terms of design. There are some file limitations in terms of opening or saving off but most of them can be worked around. I think the question you need to ask in terms of design. What do you want to do that you can't already do?
