    Is this normal?

Thanks so much for your reply......Have adjusted, readjusted, and adjusted again. With the help of US Cutters and friendly folks such as your self offering suggestions. We have the blade adjusted doing just that. I just wanted to know the difference in the 2 types of blades and if someone other than a dealer who stand to make money on them could offer an experienced opinion with pros and cons. We have had very little issue cutting using our settings prior to replacing the carriage and just wanted to know if it could be something else. I too can read and have read thru multiple posts before asking this question. Just to clarify it is not cutting the entire portion of the g just chewing the tails on SOME of them in this file not every one of them. Same size and same font.

    Is this normal?

is there a difference in a stock blade and a clean cut blade?
  3. Is this normal? I have cut this same thing prior to replacing the carriage on my machine. Any suggestions?
  4. We replaced our carriage with us cutter assistance on the phone on Thursday and all seemed to be working fine after this. We were unable to start cutting anymore jobs until yesterday evening after us cutter was closed.........and find we think we have an issue naturally. The cutter seems to be cutting slowly and almost like its dragging along......the cuts seem to be ok just making a totally different noise than usual. it sounds as if the machine is almost running in slow motion. The speed is 10, pressure is 80, and the offset is 0.30........these settings were fine the other day when we talked with support and did a test cut after carriage replacement. We didnt cut anything else beyond the test cut. It seems as if the belt is really really tight......we marked it before taking it out and had a devil of a time getting it back in there. It was hard to mark precisely right next to the carriage using a crayon but i got it as close as I could. I am now wondering if maybe we got the belt in too far and that is why it is making this sick noise. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ashley & Kelly

I have tried all of the suggestions. Last week it made a sound like it was hung up when the carriage was moving from right to left. Ever since then nothing has cut correctly. Could something have happened to the carriage? Support at USCutter has had me change my settings but I don't think that it is the settings, since everything worked great prior to the machine making a terrible noise.

Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix it?
