    EZ-Up Tents and Flags

Killer job on the tent I always wanted try that on my tent but was afraid it would melt in the heat press, because it isn't as heavy as a real ez up.

nice job on the printing.I liked on how you used that pit claw guy.you giving away all the shirts,or is it a job from someone?

    screen press opinion

neither one of those has micros but if you are only going to do 1 color you don't need them but if you are going to register 2 or more color jobs you'll want them.

any techniques for doing sleeves/legs of shorts?

    yep sleeve platen
  7. waterbase will work better in your heatpress than plastisol.plastisol you'll want a dryer.if you want a good image printing you are going to want to use emulsion because the vinyl is thicker allowing more ink to pass through screen.

    white Lettering on dark T-shirt

I don't know about you but black doesn't bleed through white on my press.I have both a cutter and press and I know for sure I wouldn't do a 100 on a cutter not even 10 screen print is much better.

    sons of Anarchy

Awesome job does look like a pain love the show
  10. USB only choice on my cutter works fine after changing out the port on the cutter.
  11. Practice before you stick it to the signboard because it's cheaper and you want your first signs to look good.Like John said probably not enough pressure on the transfer tape and trying to pull off the vinyl with the tape.
  12. yeah Puertoricans in Florida
  13. No malachiind you are right I don't do 3 or 4 shirts screen printed for $5 unless I already have their screen.I usually start at about $100 for 10 shirts including the shirts, artwork and screen then if they want more $5 each including shirt because I already have the screen.I think $7 for my preprinted shirts is cheap too but we have a ton of screenprinters here. I was talking to Joe about $5 each for brokers and they still think that is too much. For 1 off shirts I go $10 and do those on vinyl that is about the going rate around here for 1 offs on vinyl from everyone. Oh Nonabelle I am in St.Pete FL
  14. Yeah but just because I am my only employee and own all of the equipment.I have 6 color 4 station harco t-shirt,Flash Dryer, conveyor Dryer I think that is cheap also but have to keep up with the big boys
  15. I have the heat set vinyl but only use it only if someone wants just one shirt.I screen print everything else I sell my screen printed tees for $7. I screen print for other people for $5 a tee including artwork and screen.
  16. or you can get your shirts already printed from a screen printer that ships to PR (like me) I have about 15 Boricua Barbie different sizes you can have for $4 a piece. how much are you guys paying for transfers and the shirts to put them on?
  17. First let me say long time reader first time poster.Cutter was working great for a month off my Laptop and then quit in middle of cutting and can't get laptop or desktop to recognize it again. Tried 4 different cords (Using USB only thing came with cutter),All of the port settings on SBE Comps just wont recognize it anymore.I tried everything off every post has to be something stupid I only got to use it for a month been fighting it for over 6 months now I'm ready to throw in the towel. I am a Screen Printer and got this to go along with the printing would be nice if I could get it to work again. Any new ideals what happened? Thanks

  21. Printing,eBay and Flea Markets I could write a book, but I'll try to sum it up. I was on eBay when it was new thats when the money was there.(over 13,000 feedback) Notice I say WAS now there are more sellers than buyers and everybody cuts each others throat so nobody makes money but eBay.If you are selling for $10 after you pay for shirt,eBay and Paypal gets their piece not much left for your time. I'm still at the Flea Market if you ride out the slow times it is worth it when the season is in.Can't cherry pick the times if you want to keep your same space.(At least at ours you have to pay for booth to keep it.)You have the same space so your customers and their friends can find you each week. Flea Market more bang for your buck ride it out. BTW here is a pic of my booth lets see your set up.I screen Print the Tees but I put vinyl on a Board in back.
  22. Yeah I hope it is that port.I got it out and sending it back to you.Keeping my fingers crossed thats what it is. Kudos to BannerJohn for quick reply and Ken on the super fast Customer Service. Can't wait for part to get here and see if thats it. Thanks again
  23. Here is what Plug on cutter looks like
