  1. I am running a MH 721 connected to PC with USB. I use inkscape and sign blazer. I am trying to cut 1000 pieces of this logo and the corners are getting jagged or cut off. I have adjusted my blades ( both 45 and 60) I have adjusted the offset. Any suggestions? .

    Professional Finished Product

Take it easy banner man. My comments were directed at the people advising I use a cutter/plotter. I aknowledged the lever action paper cutter in the image, which i know is not cheap, as i have one as well. I am talking about stack type cutters that cut hundreds of sheets. I am aware of the lever trimmers pros and cons. I want to know how they (PROFESSIONALS) line up sheets of decals and trim large quantities quickly into uniform rectangles.

Man this is the worst forum ever. Im not an idiot. I understand the process of making the sticker with the machine, as i have one. Im talking about the paper cutting. Somewhat like the trimmer shown above, though not a kindergarten classroom cutter. Any PROFESSIONAL decal makers out their with tips for quickly trimming decals into uniform sizes for client delivery?

I realize that. Im talking about their finished product. Individually cut out, with the transfer tape on, stacked like a deck of cards.

How do vinyl decal companies get their finished product decals cut out so perfectly? Are there any tips for getting a professional looking end product from a sheet of vinyl kiss cut stickers? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Vinyl Trimming

I am starting to do large quantity jobs and need to cut out my decals in a straight uniform manner. Is eyeballing it and a long straight edge with exacto the way to go? Or are there tools that make trimming many decals at once easy? Thanks in advance
  7. SHES BACK!! I guess shaving some paint and re-grounding, along with many unplugging's/repowerings has done it. For now. I still plan on getting a comp I can use the serial port with, It seems like the way to go. In your opinion, is a desktop with the serial port that much better than a keyspan adapter for my laptop? Thanks for all the help guys
  8. Awesome, thank you so much. I have been contemplating getting an older desktop to do my work on. Sounds like I should hop on Craigslist and try and find one with that serial cable. Do you think it is the static? Why now all of a sudden is it a problem after I have been cutting for months with no issues? Thanks again, I will let you know how it goes.
  9. MH-721 24" USB March 2012 Oracal 651 My cutter has worked flawlessly until today. When I go to make a cut the carriage shoots across entire cutter to the far lookers left side, then proceeds to continuously feed for a long time. It then stops feeding and the carriage begins to make its way back to its origin at an extremely slow, almost un-noticeable pace, all with the blade down. From what I have been reading it sounds like it may be a static issue? I have the stand and cutter grounded. I am going to remove the paint from under the screws and see if that helps. Also maybe a keyspan adapter? Any help would be appreciated as I have a big order to fill and no clear resolution in sight. I hope this is an easy fix. Thanks in advance for any help.
