got my first cutter package on ebay from uscutter. It was a better deal than on the uscutter site.

My garage doesnt have a window for an a/c unit, so during the summer it gets HOT! I plan on moving within the next 6-8 months, if the new place doesn't have a garage window, I will make one! So tired of sweating to death all summer!

I listen to songs I know so that i can sing or humm along. classic rock and country mostly. I have to have some music in the background..... my cutter sounds too much like a fax machine or 56k modem for me not to go insane if that's all I heard all day. I am a firm believer in music in daily life. Also the mood of the music doesn't have to be death metal...but it surely can't be a slow song either. Whatever pumps you up and keeps you going should work. My whole garage is converted into my "shop" so there are no problems with noise in the house, I crank the jams and get to work! -

I like your setup a lot. Looks like a great place to get messy! -
I know its not the same thing, but I successfully applied vinyl to the rear window of a soft top jeep this past summer. The customer wanted it on the soft window instead of the tire cover because they were scared of it coming off. The tire cover was soft leather with dimples on it, so I agreed. If it had been a smooth surface without dimples I would have tried it, but I could tell from looking at it that it would not work.

do you sell these on ebay or your own site? I'd like to have a few myself, gifts for family (mother died of breast cancer in 2008)

It would be nice to have a clean space to work... mine is always messy. Weeded vinyl on floor, mostly

speaking of small cuts..... we recently had a customer that wanted to order several stickers roughly the size of a business card with several lines of text. They also wanted the same thing but larger, around 5x's larger. When I quoted roughly the same price for the large ones as the small ones they were shocked. She couldn't believe that since the small ones were so small that I would charge the same price as the larger ones.... so I tried to explain that there's a fine line between small and inexpensive...and small and a pain in the a$$ for me to weed... oh well, she was upset but the order was placed anyways. All I can do is make sure she is happy and try to explain as much as I can...

looks great. In vinyl or in real life...that car is awesome

look at the material you are pressing on and look up on google or whatever what the melting temp is....make sure your heat transfer or vinyl can be pressed at the low temp and try not to even get close to the melting temp. I had to do this for a certain type of grocery/carry bag that we sell.
