Same here, with frog juice spray over top. I have some on my truck that's going on 3 years old.

We do it all the time. Let it dry and youll be good.

Does anyone know why my shipping labels print like this? If I print from the USPS site of Etsy the labels print with this skew down the middle. They are pdf files and they look fine on screen, Ive updated adobe reader and checked the alignment on the printer. I circled it so you can see. Its pretty obvious in person. Any ideas?

Well it happens when I print directly from the usps site as well. So either something with the label generator or something on my end with adobe. Everything else prints fine. Who knows. I guess it isnt a common problem and Ill probably just ignore it from now on.

What happened here? I go away for a few hours and were talking about ultrasounds?! Focus people focus!! So the reason I use my epson to print shipping labels is 'cause I print like 1 a week so Im not going to pay for a dedicated label printer. That would make no sense. Ive come to the conclusion that Im going to have to live with the slightly jacked up label. Oh well. Carry on with whatever you want to talk about...

Ill read through that link thanks, I have tried with the USPS site and this seems to be the only thing that prints messed up. Everything else I print is fine, Its just shipping labels.

I have a decal I printed on my epson and sprayed in frog juice that's been on my truck tool box for at least 2 years now. It still looks fine to me. Inkjet and a good vinyl or spray laminate will last as long as you need it to.

Who would want the cut file for that? Youd have to weed it! No thanks. Looks good but I dont want any part of it.

Good tip but you shoudnt be cutting into your cutting strip ever so no need to protect it. What type of cutting are you doing where you cut through the backing paper?

Maybe someone can explain why someone would sell a card for less than the value of the card? I can see selling for less if you would never shop or there isnt one close. But selling $100 gift card to best buy for $75? I dont understand. And I guess there is some kind of code of conduct for giftcard sales? If its for credit you cant charge as much? I dont know...

I just bought VM4 Pro. Im trying to contour cut some graphics and vinyl master puts the registration marks so far away from the graphic. Is there any way I can move them closer so I can actually fit on a sheet of paper?

Ive never used vinyl master. There are tons of pretty good videos on line about the features, Id watch all those and see how it compares. I went from signblazer to VM pro and it was a great upgrade, well worth the $300. It still has some short comings but its a decent program.

Inkscape! Its a great program. Totally free and so powerful. Ive bought software and still go back to inkscape for design work. Theres tons of info out there about how to use it. Youll learn very quick. Theres a few short comings in the software but its free so you just work with it. Just make sure you save your files in .eps for signblazer and ALSO in .svg so you can open back up in inkscape to edit the file. Thats probably the biggest problem but its easy to over come.

I dont have a ton of experince with contour cuts and now Im trying to relearn on a new program. I cant get my contour cut to cut correctly. Its offset by about an 1/8 inch. My graphtec reads the registration marks fine. I tried the practice cut and the alignment. The alignment was off 1mm and 1.5mm But Im starting to think my test was off because I dont have a pen holder I had to wrap tape around a sharpie. I might take out the changes and try the cut again. Does anyone have problems with contour cuts with vinyl master? Or have any tips?

Ok looks like its working. Make sure the language matches in the machine and the software. FREAKING AAAAAA

I might have figured it out. So when I changed the language in the software I was also supposed to change it in the plotter as well, "auto" doesnt auto do anything!. I just changed it in the plotter and now it found all four marks. Im going to print my file again and try it. I dont know why it worked the first time I did 75 contour cuts with the old language.
