  1. Thanks for the heads up...I dont have a screen printer to really farm this out to. I have seen shirts with a photo on the shirt with a high gloss finish over the top to give it a overall rubbery feel but not sure what the process is to create such a shirt. I am going to try and get some more info before I have to pass but it looks like I am going that way.
  2. Hey whats up everyone? So I just got a email for a quote on 25-100-250 shirts for this guy. Apparently they are some sort of horror-core rap group??? I would like the business but not really sure how to get a transfer made of this because of the photo. I have never seen a transfer that looked like a photo. As I understand it only a direct to garment printer can produce this type of image. Am I wrong? sure I guess I can do the generic iron on but not really a quality shirt that will last. Any way does anyone have exp. with trying to produce a shirt like this? oh yea throw in your quotes too for 25-100-250 for these as well. At least it will be a good starting point. thanks for your help!
  3. Hello! I have searched high and low for some good Army rank files but so have found nothing. I am looking for stuff like private, Sargent, colonel, General, Major etc... any one have anything like that? thanks your help is appreciated
  4. Hey everyone! Well I have a return customer that restores guitars and he has asked to get about 10 of each of these. Just want some opinions on what you would charge. First one is one color 10" long and second is 3 color about 5"X5" thanks again for your feedback
  5. I am impressed if you got one of these done in less than 4 min. I weeded them from the "P" side and both had to be pulled to be released from the material. It was also impossible to get the dot of the "I" to release from the vinyl. I had to re-set each dot back onto the backing. I did each one in about 4 min total. I also agree that it REALLY depends where you are located. I am in the City of Denver and we had commercial places like signs plus almost on ever block. Not really a job for them but people here are not going to pay 1.75 for these. I ended up charging .75 ea for these and even though I know I probably made little (if any) money on this I wanted to prove that I could even get this done. Not to mention the promise of more work to come my way from this customer. (fingers crossed) Thanks again for all the really good feed back!
  6. Thanks alot for the advice guys....This helps alot!
  7. Hey everyone! need some help. I have a job to cut 60-100 of these and I am not sure what to charge because of the small size. I guessed at around .40 ea. Yes the weeding is a pain but its a job right? anyway your thoughts are welcome. What would you charge?

    A few shirts

What up everyone? Well its good to see some of the old heads still hanging around. Swans posts finally got me to get up off my butt and show some of the work I have done in the last couple of months Anyway, always enjoy your feedback. Be easy. Handing out my business card got me to do this shirt. Guy wanted a shirt with his godsons nicknames on it and the spanglish word for godfather is nino, Worked out nice. http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1266/dscf2136r.jpg[/img] http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3903/dscf2137f.jpg[/img] Yea yea... I know the Cavs didnt make the finals but I made a shirt for my youngest anyway... http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/572/dscf2151z.jpg[/img] http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8413/dscf2153g.jpg[/img] My JMJ tribute shirt with the 303 logo on back. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/8639/dscf2154x.jpg[/img] http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3852/dscf2155.jpg[/img] MY RUN DMC inspired Nuggets shirt O made for the wifey (yes I was lucky enough to go to a couple semi-final games) And since everyone was calling us the Denver Thuggets I thought I would represent. Holla back !

    50 % cotton / 50% rayon

I use these shirts all the time and actually prefer them to 100% cotton. Almost no shrinkage and they hold up very well over time. I use Thermoflex plus and have had no complaints.
  13. yea its like after a cut pressing online and then trying to set a new origin by pressing the origin button does nothing. its like the refine does not respond to the buttons. Im stumped.
  14. HI! I'm having a problem with my 2 year old refine. I can set a origin point, cut a shape, and then the cutter just stops at the end of the design. Usually it would return to the origin point and stop. So I thought no big deal I would just make the point it stopped at the new origin point and continue to cut. so when I press offline and try to press origin nothing happens. The X and Y point stay at the first origin point. This screws the placement up and I end up having to reset every time and start again. Never did this before so I'm stumped. Could this be a software issue? I am using Windows XP with Vinyl Master Pro. Like I said my refine is about 2 years old and I'm hoping its not dying on me.
