I have a problem with getting clean text and have to clean up some of the letters before cutting. It's not bad but it's time consuming. Any advise would be apreciated.

Windows XP can open .zip files natively. Sounds like your files are corrupt or your OS is hosed, Try WinRar. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

I understand what your saying and agree fully but you may have not seen what I went through here with others. The first threads where deleted by me to protect this site. The rest is history. Let's continue to build this place into something to be proud of.

PCut driver Problem
Knobhill replied to vol*cano's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
If you have an open 9 pin serial port on you computer and the cable, give it a try. -
Don't expect a fix for the activation any time soon. It's been months now with no end in site.

Do cutters or blades "break-in" and work better?
Knobhill replied to RegisG's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
Yes blades wear and may work better or worse depending on the quality of the blade. I've had some that only lasted only a few weeks and others for months. I've been using the same blade since startup with my 630 and recently increased the pressure by only one point after several thousand feet of vinyl cut. Haven't noticed a difference in weeding but will pay attention in the future. -

Peace brother, with what I put up'd with on this site I hope you understand I'm a bit gun shy. I help when I can and now react when needed. My sense of humor has been at an all time low.

NEED HELP WITH PCUT 630
Knobhill replied to snlsd's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Just watch the edge of it and you'll see the run out as it feeds back and forth on the ruler. No need for any other. I like having individual roller engagement since it gives much more finite adjustments. -
Wow, I'm at 70-80 with my 630 with no issues. What blades are you using???

NEED HELP WITH PCUT 630
Knobhill replied to snlsd's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Vinyl tracking is only an issue until you get used to the cutter. It takes practice to get it setup right. Tracking is always an issue with all friction feed plotters no matter what the price. I have a 630 and it works flawlessly. I won't take credit for this but, run the vinyl back and forth and adjust it until it tracks straight enough to do the job. Works every time. And yes the 9 pin serial connection is the one to use. -
If you have a digital camera, take a pic of the views you need being careful to be square to the surface to avoid distortions, then import the pics into your design software. Works better than outlines being you can show the client how it really looks before installed. Edit: Take some measurements to be sure your scaling is accurate.

I've recently been approached by a U-Haul AFM to open a new dealership at my shop. Is it worth it? Seams like a lot of work for the money.

Found the problem and fixed it

Well john your correct. What did you expect after being treated as I have been on this site? Ken will verify where I stand. If 'yal can keep on subject there would be less BS.

Anything from Google is not to be trusted. One of the biggest trackers on the net to date. LOL, sheep to the slaughter. Stick with Firefox or Opera.

That would be awesome.

Flexi seams to work very well especially for more complex jobs.

Don't wast time on Signblazer. Flexi is the industry standard according to most.

Always dry on a single or base layer. Only use wet if alignment can't be achieved by normal means.

At least you named me directly in this thread as one on your list rather than bash and attack me again. One step forward. No offense but I am watching.
