knucklehead replied to Macon Innovations's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR

A clip from an article, on e-commercebytes... "In October, the USPS told us, "The countries that have ePacket agreements with USPS are China, Hong Kong and Korea Post. We are unable to disclose rate information as it is commercially sensitive information of the USPS and foreign postal operators."

Looking for some sort of thin plastic-like sign material?
knucklehead replied to fawnap's topic in General discussion
Polystyrene is pretty thin, and flexible -
I rarely download any fonts, from the free font places, but, that's some good information to know.

Check Sign Warehouse, for that printer. I think they have it for a lot more reasonable price The 'crafters'. don't really need solvent printed vinyl. I sell to some with an aqueous(pigment) printer.

Large sign pricing help
knucklehead replied to cjs's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I told a guy, I wouldn't re-use his faces, (a penny pincher) and if he wanted them re-used, he should clean them till there was no trace of anything left, and save himself some money. He came over a couple weeks later, told me to go ahead and order a couple new faces, no problem. -

If it's good paint, and cast vinyl, shouldn't be a problem. Try a piece, see how it does?

Several companies make 'aqueous compatible' vinyl, for pigment printers. Sihl, Lexjet, Phototex, and others... -
Aluminum Oxide, 180 - 220 grit, a little coarse for the Pasche air eraser, Silicon Carbide is good too, but a little pricey for me. . Cheapest AO I've found, is 50# bucket, at Tractor Supply.

Anyone tried JPSS/pigment print, on 100% poly shirts, or 95%, whatever the 'performance' shirts are? Wishing everyone a Merry Safe Christmas!

I have been thinking, one day I'm gonna get a fine tooth 12 inch miter saw blade, re-ground, like a smooth blade in a meat slicer. Maybe would work, maybe not Hard to find, a saw blade sharpener dude, around here anymore.

PayPal refusing to let me sell the stickers other sellers are selling on Ebay
knucklehead replied to Trillion's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
PayPal, and Ebay, aren't good ole PP & E anymore. The 'powers that be' (new chinese owners), are basically going to dictate, who sells what. Just the beginning! -
That's one badass tractor, right there.
-
Pasche does make an air eraser, with a 1 quart, remote tank.
-
I put a T fitting in my airline, with a connector, and just hook my air eraser up, right there in the cabinet.
