Full version Signblazer Download (all cutters)

Is anyone using Windows 7 64 bit with these files? I have tried all the downloads in this topic and after the UK patch and the other fix I no longer have any US Cutter cutters listed. Up until I got this new computer I was able to get the count to stop with certain versions of SBE. I dont need any extra features and I dont mind the trial mode button but the counter has to go. Any suggestions?
  4. Thanks for the input, I did try it without the black cover and it didnt help. USC is sending me a new Motherboard. Mine was just flopping around the clips to hold it didn't do their job. So they think it got grounded out.
  5. Hey Ken, my blade holder is not lifting. It is grounded to the stand and wall outlet. I have tried the dryer sheet and pulled the black cover off it to see if there is anything I can see wrong with it. It all looks fine. Any other suggestion or can you send me a new carriage? Vinyl cutter model MH871 Date purchased Nov. 11, 2008 but the payment didnt clear till the 14th if that matters and it was on Ebay. So its not quite 6 months. Connection method Serial Software SBE Operating system Vista Material 651 Please let me know something ASAP I can call in if you need me to. I guess I am going to have to setup my P-Cut to get me through till this gets fixed :'( Hopefully it still works it started collecting dust when the MH got here.
  6. Awesome work Sandstorm!! maby one day I can afford some good equipment, still probably couldnt do that fading stuff though. Im still having a hard time figuring an easy way to wrap vinyl around the glass without messing it up and keeping it even.
  7. post some pics of that when you get finished it sounds like a great idea.
  8. Yea I weed out the part that would usually be the sticker (that gets confusing at times) I bought 70 grit aluminum oxide from there it was like $20 for 20 pounds dont forget some safety gear I opted for the $0.99 goggles and a $20 respirator, but I think I need something different the goggles are worth all of $0.99 but not a penny more lol and the respriator does not say it is good for sand blasting. But until i can figure out exactly what I need it will work. oh yea add the items you are planning on getting to a cart online and print your cart. prices in the store may be more $ and they will take the $ off if you have printed proof. They wanted $20 for the gun it was online for $12 so it was good i printed a cart for a shopping list.
  9. Using one of these guns from harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93221 I wanted to get into it cheap to make sure it was something I wanted to do before investing in a bigger setup. This just needs a small compressor Im using a 17 gallon and it is working great. A blast cabinet setup would be alot better than doing it the way I am though if you can afford it. The sand dont feel good hitting you back on exposed skin lol.
  10. I was figuring for them around $5 each but I think it will take way more than an hour to do the applying and masking the rest of the glass as well as the amount of time it takes to etch each glass. But thats about what I was figuring for a ballpark price. Thanks for your input. Im using sand blasting to do my etching so I can recycle my media but I loose some since I am blasting into a cardboard box but am able to recover most of it so thats one nice thing to figure into the calculation. Although if I get this job I will probly go over my friends dads house to use his cabinet setup.
  11. Ok so I picked up some cheap stuff to get started into etching glass to see if it would be worth offering it (thanks midwaste for the info on what to get) Anyway I am getting a ton of people interested. For those of you who do etching how do you come up with prices? I have a restaurant that wants like 50 glasses done they provide the glasses but I have no clue how to price it. There is going to be alot of time put into that one and dont want to quote too high or to low. Any ideas?

    Etching stuff

Looks great. Did you use a cabinet or something else? Also are you able to recycle your media? I used a friends blast cabinet years ago to do some glasses I hand cut the stencils I have been wanting to get back into that and am at the moment compressor shopping I have a limited budget though so something like this gun would be perfect. Thanks for the link.

Anyone making vinyl gifts this Christmas??

We made 5 tote bags, they were our first to try out so figured we would give them to family to torture test before we sell any. Also doing some shirts, and even giving out a couple gift certificates to my sisters so they can find me something to cut for them. Last year we got into candle making before Christmas and made everyone candles I like making gifts instead of going out and buying stuff. Its alot more meaningful.

    oracal 5 yard starter pack?

Dont know about the 5 yard starter pack but if you signup on Oracals site https://www.oracal.com/members/signup.asp you can request samples they are 8.5x11 inch samples but it will give you a feel for the different products as well as I think they offer a color chart (the $10 one for free). When starting off you could build your own starter pack get basic colors white, black, red, blue, yellow, green. you will find what colors you use and dont use over time. White is one you may as well get a 50 yard roll off the bat because it is going to get used. You can also get 15 inch rolls to work with at first. I only have white and etched in 24 inch everything else is 15. its easier to build a color variety with 15 being a little cheaper.
