Vectors? What are those?

Maybe it would be best to have the note read SDRAWKCAB

This ain't rocket science ---- I had my MH up and running from day one, wasting basically NO vinyl, and being paid for sign jobs immediately. And Dakota is 100% correct, I guarantee USCUTTER is perfectly satisfied as a business enterprise to be given the consumables purchases of anyone, regardless of where they obtained their machine. Hey, Glenn, being a BadBoy ain't always a bad thing!!!

Is anyone from Minnesota going to the Dax Trade Show Next weekend?
slice&dice replied to jessehop's topic in General discussion
This was covered in a recent thread http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/39498-dax-shows/?p=301662 -
In a nutshell, WYSIWYG would cut using the coordinates & the location on the mat as you designed it -- in other words, it will cut at the precise position as it appears on the grid. The "origin" designation will always start cutting in the lower right corner of the vinyl, regardless of the position you placed the object(s) on your mat/grid/workspace. Very rarely would WYSIWYG (WhizzyWig) be applicable as a rule.

What? I can't hear you. -
What about it? By the way, you just posted "thanks guys...got tons of stuff... my kart is like at $300!! thats $50 over my limit of $250 i had for supplies....oh well.." You were told about this way back on page 1 of this long thread, after you mentioned a small budget of $500. for a cutter (which has now turned into over $1300, without a heat press) and SKEETER and mabscotthandyman immediately pointed out that supplies will cost ya.

Here's a great idea -- download this and install (includes Patch to eliminate nag screens) http://www.mystat.com/Signblazer.zip

High, new here and cant seem to get driver on MH 871 to work
slice&dice replied to johnandpam's topic in Introductions
Welcome to the Forums. You'll get this sorted out, I'm sure. If not, there's always SignBlazerElements, which will work very well with your cutter (it's listed as RedSail in SBE) http://www.mystat.com/Signblazer.zip -
Go for it. You will never regret owning a "budget" cutting machine, it will pay for itself almost immediately.

" Is there money to be made? " This is a labor-intensive type of work. Depends what your time is worth. -
Martin, we have a rule around here, nobody from Wisconsin is "initiated" because they're, uh, from Wisconsin, and that's already enough initiation for anyone to go through. www.youtube.com/watch?v=i08D9kba5uc

Sometimes, it's worth doing an "offset" between the colors, leaving a space of blank area.

I own the SC, it's OK, but I would tend to believe the LPII is a better machine, from the way it's built. Both the SC and LPII will contour cut (I don't have a printer, so that's not something I'm involved in with my SC) You can go around and around in circles regarding which "budget cutter" to purchase, and at the end of the day, you just have to bite the bullet and place an order and get started, and go from there.

...and build a media catch-basket.

Glad to have you here, Glenn. The cutter itself is only one part of the equation. You'll need other accessories and materials, such as the vinyl itself & app tape, which (depending on how much you order) can cost a few hundreds of $$. The SC is the way to go, it's more "robust" than the MH. I've used both. Get the 34" if you have the room for it.

By the way, tinkerbell is a fairy. I know where you can obtain a ton of fairies, all ready to cut and sell. http://www.clipartandfonts.com/Fairy_Clipart.html
