  1. I'm posting this here instead of "Grapic Request" because I want instructions on how to do this. Instructions or website, how to video link anything like that will help me. If you also post the 2 eps files that i need as an end result of following instructions that would be greatly appreciated to. But mostly I want to learn so I can stop asking for help all the time. I have this eps file I found in graphics help and its in two parts how can I overlay the two parts? I prefer to use inkscape to do this because I have been unsuccessful with opening anything I do in SIgnBlazer in Signcut. I can open this eps in sign cut but the two parts cut seperately so this eps file doesn't do me any good untill I can figure out HOW TO OVERLAY THE TWO PARTS. The other thing I would like to do after is I get this overlayed save the file in it's current state and make another file that has the wording DACHSHUND into the body. I can add the wording to the bottom but can't seem to add it into the body. So here is the eps of the overlay I can't seem to do correctly and here is picture of what I want to accomplish for the inside of my picture frame. Any ideas? Resources tutorials or instructions? I learn better from print so if I can print it out and follow the instructions that would work best for me! Thanks all you have all been a huge help on my crazy crafting journey that now involves using a computer. dach. .eps
  2. To answer your question, I'm a dam mess when it comes to any program so I am limited as to what I know how to do in the programs. I have only figured out how to cut in Sign Cut. I do not like the way the cut screen looks in SignBlazzer I can't figure it out. To further gripe and complain I have to add.... I have files I have made in Sign Blazzer of word art and things I wanted for my walls and can't get them to save as anything but .sbd which I can't seem to open in Inkscape or Sign Cut. When I tryed to save those files as .eps the picture that was there when it was labled .sbd completly disapears and I don't know where it goes. To make it worse I can't get any of those files to save into one of my regular computer parts like "picutes" or even to the "desktop" so I can get to them to have someone fix them to .eps for me. I am totaly limited, it's really frustrating. I ordered an actual print book on Inkscape to see if this will help me figure this out. It's coming in the mail, mail is soooo slow. I already printed out the whole manuel for SignBlazer and thats how I managed to figure out how to do the word art and things that I have done. A whole 1 1/2 ink cartridges latter and about 3 inches of paper I have a printed manule. Huge waste of time since I can't figure out my saving situation to cut them. I read highlighted and re-read the pages I printed while waiting at various apointments for the kids, so I could figure it out. And I am still stuck. I think I even have a post about on forums. Had a few replys that I actually printed out and followed step by step but they didnt work either. I'm sleep deprived from all this failing.

That is going to make the best gift my daughter will ever make for one of her teachers, thanks for the share! That's an awesome idea.
  4. Thanks snider for the try but I needed that exact yellowjacket it's the school mascot. Ok so I just downloaded the file, hooked up to my cutter and opened it all up and theres 2 yellow jackets one with the H one without the H so how do I save them as seperate files? I dont need to cut 2 at ounce? *Insert smiley beating head against counter* I literally have a hour twice a day if I'm lucky to (make noise) create cut weed and create ounce its cut. It usually takes me that long to figure out what I need to do to cut! Gerrrr, Im going to throw this computer out the window.

How do I cut this in Signblazer

Now I can't really cut in SB at all. Nor can I get anything I create to open in Sign Cut. So I can't help you to much however. If I was you I would cut them all seperate on the different color vinyls and just line them all up myself. Not sure if my newbie idea will work for you but I figure with all the help Ive been getting from people I should try to help others throw some ideas around.

    Thick male & female

My girlfirend's husband just put a new decal on his truck it's of 2 skin girls the devil and angel ones and it says SKIN below them. The image shows the way they are standing. She wants to take them off and replace the decal with THICK and 2 "thicker" slightly more valumpsious females. Any ideas on how to feed the skin girls? Or any 2 thick/sexy silhouettes for that matter? Also anyone have this chubby man or something similar in eps?
  7. I thought you might like to know I received my cut files today around 630pm! He works fast !

    Girl in a martini glass.

If you manage to get that image into .eps would you mind sharing? That would work wonderfully as a decoration! And I would love to have it but am not so capable of changing file types.
  13. I can open all my other .eps files its the saving it as a eps in sign blazer that I can't do. Thanks for your help but I think I'm giving up. Lol. I think at this point it will be easier for me to learn to write text in Inkscape, rather then using sign blazer.
  14. The yellow jacket was quoted at $22 and just it's head with an angry lip was $12. So I sent in my $34 bucks to save myself any frustration. I also had another head quoted at $19 but decided it looked more like a cricut so didn't get it done. My next google search will for the yellowjacket with the muscles. It has more lines but I think it will look good as a vinyl decal. Thanks again for the help! It was so much easier to pay then continue searching, trying, waiting and failing.

Don't even know where to start!

I went from my Cricut to a 24" Laser Cutter (way over my head as far as software) I bought it new from US Cutters off Ebay! $290.00 plus $50 shipping. It has contour cut if I so desire to figure that out but for now I'm going to stick with simple vinyl decals. I love it, HOWEVER I still love and use my cricut for those small jobs and crafts, but I wouldn't upgrade your SoCal because ounce you do it will no longer work for your Cricut. SoCal version 2 will work with US Cutters so I would keep your options open as far as upgrading your SoCal. If you do upgrade you lose the capabilities of cutting what you would like on your Cricut. Also keep in mind purchasing a cutter with more features will give you options in the future if you ever decide to branch out.
  20. I did exactly what you said but while in Sign cut I cannot find the file. So I went back to SB and I tried to save the file again as an .eps the picture of the file goes away. It only reapears as an .SBD and I can't seem to open the .SBD in Signcut or save an .eps to my "pictures" folder? Any other idea what I can try to get the file to open in sign cut? Its a very simple item to cut it says Victor's Wifey in cursive and has a slanted heart at the end. Something so simple seems to be so complicated, the weld action did work as far as I can tell, so thank you very very much for that!
  21. I went with the website you suggested. I have better files of this image but still just to frustrating to figure it out. I should have my image by the end of this week. It just seems less stressful to pay for the work to be done then figure it out. Thank you
