i'm having a hard time figuring this out. i want to cut a word using my cutter, lets say the word is " test " i'm using inkscape. i want to cut this word out with say black vinyl with my cutter. but i want to add a layer of vinyl on top of the base layer creating an outline with a different color vinyl. how do i do this. all i have been able to figure is by adding the same word on top of the other but the spacing and such is different. i've included a picture with what i want to do. see how the lettering and numbers are layered? sorry i'm new to this and i'm having a hard time.

i'm looking at buying either the laserpoint or the zen cut. so i am asking the peopole of the laserpoint forum if they would buy the laser point or the zen cut if they were to do it again. i really would like the copam but i want a cutter that is a contour cutter. the price is a jump from one to the other, but i'm more concerned with quality and a cutter that is going to last for a number of years with out buying a roland or something super expensive. thanks
