The sister in law picked me up one of these HP DesignJet 755CM for a grand total of $2.50. The wife wants me to do huge coloring books. I would like to get into printing of some sort with it any ideas? It will make for a life size paper templates for foam signs.

Yeah there was a ton of stuff there like that. a newer printer plotter went for 25$ she just missed that. -
I have a customer that wants a adjustable wrench on a door decal i know i have some but we moved and the office is still not all there. Still finding stuff that was lost and misplaced. Just a simple vectored one.

Ravenwind / One Off Grafx replied to mrfibble's topic in Pre-sale questions
Had mine just over a year . The only trouble i had was the pinch rollers. US cutter did not stock them. So went to a site in china and got just the wheels for about $5 -

Can you get a portable shed and turn it into a office space. Or what about a cheap camper gutted out to serve as a office and show goer. -
Press Imprint
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx replied to Macon Innovations's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
If it is from the heat press you need to get a shirt pillow. There has been some talk on here about them before. -
Also look at the wheel travel. I bought a LP2 1 year ago and all 3 pinch rollers went bad. Sad thing is US cutter had them on sale for 19.00 but never any in stock. once they came off sale shot to almost 40$ and had less than 3 in stock. Yes we tried customer service 3 times. went on line and found the 3 of the wheels for 14.00 shipped and fixed all 3 pinch rollers. But i noticed that when they start to travel even a tiny bit, it will start to wrinkle the vinyl.

Low tac vinyl for auto body applications
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx replied to Ricoturbo's topic in Introductions
You need to go into a bit more detail on how you will use it. I bought mine to Airbrush with and do a few decals for cars. Now i am doing full cars, airbrushing, sandblasting, glass etching, signs, and a ton more. -
Looks great.

Why do I feel guilty that this price is to high
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx replied to kkeeble's topic in General discussion
It is on a Ford DOUBLE your price. LOL I do $7.00 a foot so this would be about $180.00. Less if they remember to bring me a Monster or two. Barter is always good. As for them getting more stuff in the future is all good but i have found people say that to get a good deal then you never see them again. I tell them if you come back you will get a discount on your next order. -
One other thing to check is to make sure you have the right color profile. I had a update one time and it reset my profiles took about a day to find the issue. Once i fixed that it was fine.

also make sure you do a head cleaning and a check

Looking for a Boss Mustang stripe like in the picture
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx posted a topic in Graphic Requests
I had a walk in customer yesterday and he wanted a Boss 302 mustang stripe for his Ford truck. I have a few stripes but nothing like that. I was wondering if anyone had the eps file for it as i dont want to have to buy a new cd just to do this job. My second part of this is what vinyl would be the best to do it with? I normally use only 651 but this will be a customer that will give me a ton of repeat business if i do it good. Any help will be of great help. I will post a pic of what i am looking for. The side stripe mainly and over the hood. -

Loose wheels
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx replied to Ravenwind / One Off Grafx's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
yeah if you lock it down and then run some vinyl through it will be off by as much as a inch. the pressure is right but the wheels shift left and right on there axle. sad thing is there are none in stock even when they were on sale. -
I have a LP2 and the rubber grip wheels are loose they move left or right maybe 1/32 to 1/16. just 2 of them the third is tight. Do the wheels normally go bad? this cutter is only about a year old.
