    Shipping layerd decals

I agree with that fragile is just an invitation. Have to find a good time to go to the states. Near Christmas can be a bad time. I have been in 7 mile lineups trying to get back. Thanks everyone.

    Shipping layerd decals

I shipped 2 beer mugs to Alberta. (big ones) 6.5 lbs and cost me $29 for the cheapest shipping. UPS wanted $70.

    Shipping layerd decals

Thinking I should take a trip to the states just to ship. Only a 15 min. drive. Ship from there, have lunch and come back.

    Shipping layerd decals

Ya, it's 651. I would prefer flat but don't know about the cost. Shipping from here is crazy. 3 1/2 tube 12 long is $25. How would that compare with down there? Maybe my idea of shipping is way off. That is post office price.
  9. Did you buy new or used? Seems a bit strange you are asking for help after 2 months.

Cut the dull side. The shinny side is the carrier.

    Distortion Correction on Cup

Come to think about it, there is a lot more involved. Not only does it look out of square, but it is also going to look shorter at the end of the square. Top to bottom. Not much, but it is there. Now I got ya thinking. I don't know if there is any math that can cover that part. How about a strait on pic and use vertical lines to measure the difference for the height and the other stuff for the width?
  14. Use ms skeeters instructions for blade depth, but do it with the htv. You will feel the difference.
  15. Htv is a bit more rubbery than 651 and have more friction on the holder. My guess is more blade less pressure. SLIGHTLY!

    Distortion Correction on Cup

It may actually be twice the difference. Not sure. Draw on paper, cut it out and have a look. if blue = a red =b difference =c a-b=d c x 2 + a should be the answer. Unless it is not d x 2. then just c + a. Stretch proportionately to keep size.

    Distortion Correction on Cup

My way would be hold a string across for the red and measure that. I know, very accurate.

    Hello Tittys

I have it, but is it copywriten?

    Distortion Correction on Cup

Wild guess here. Blue minus red = a blue plus a = what you want. Just a wild guess like I said. If it works, let me know.

    Decals for Aircraft

Yes there definitely is. But I am not sure what they are, or where to get the specs. FAA would be a place to start.

Looking for advice for a new purchase

Agreed. In the last 6 or 7 years, I have used it maybe twice. And both times where just for gag gifts.

    New Business Laptop

Second all the above comments. Besides, with that laptop you would have to go buy an external optical drive if you wanted to buy any graphics collections.

    New Business Laptop

Agreed. My cutter is running of a cheap 10" notebook with 20" monitor. Plenty for changes to designs and cutting. Even works great for new designs.

Proper air pressure for glass etching using a sandblaster

This was done at 40 to 50 PSI using what looks like 80 grit. Some kind of titanium mix from the Canadian TSC. I actually wanted the deep etch on this one. 651 held up no problem on the small letters.
