  1. Full un-install of the Signcut software. Re-load of old version 1.95 Signcut. Cutter un-install and re-install using GCC puma III-132 driver on USB port. In Signcut set cutter as GCC for manufacturer, Cutter as GCC Jaguar JII-132S, Output device/port as Puma III-132 AAS working finally.
  2. Thanks wildgoose. Waiting for response from signcut techs but they're all tied up at convension. At least I can still get my print jobs done in the meantime.
  3. Thanks Wildgoose. Thought about the layers but test run I did was only single layer of just the marks and a letter A in the middle of the page. Still didn't work. Pretty sure it's all in the drivers but I'm not having luck with it. Back when I had XP on my computer I had problems with the cutter and it was only after playing with different drivers and using GCC's jaguarII-61 drivers did it work. UScutters supplied driver didn't work. After my computer crashed and burned and had to load new system we're now running vista business windows and I'm back to trying to get this cutter working. All 6 of my printers loaded and run great with no problems. Even told Signcut program to run in XP mode. I have help tickets in with uscutter and signcut but haven't heard back anything yet. I've watched just about every video i could find on youtube, uscutter, signcut, gcc. Just printed another sign out that i did successfully before and it doesn't want to work on the cutter either. The reg marks are different on the AAS systems vs laser bullseye ones and I've seen in a lot of videos where the operator moved the bullseye marks to where needed for their size media by keeping them inline (moving two end ones together at same time).
  4. Didn't say I didn't like that help. I appreciated his input. Thank you Mz Skeeter. The THIS IS PISSING ME OFF was my frustration working on my cutter and not him or anybody else.
  5. Took the exact sheet uscutter sent me and added the text only to it. Printed it out 24x16 and still can't get cutter to contour cut this
  6. margins are plenty big enough. Registration marks are black and UScutter sent me a registration template before that were in black and they actually worked before in black. I just did a sheet printed out on 24x16 that uscutter sent me before as a template with black registration marks. Machine acts same way. scans first set of reg marks and then moves to the right instead of the left The marks are 25mm by 1mm.
  7. Can't get my zencut green 48 to contour cut. This is small sheet I started because the main job I was doing wasn't working so I thought I'd start at the beginning and start small and simple. Using illustrator cs5. Started with 8.5 x 11 sheet and added registration marks from a sheet uscutter had sent but moved in marks to fit this page. They are perfectly aligned. Simple text added. Live traced and expanded. Saved as .ai and also .eps(trying both ways). Sent to signcut. Select GCC contour cut from the menu. Entered size of registration marks in the fields 25mm length 1mm thickness. Click CUT Cutter acts like it scanning first registration mark and then moves to the right and dances around lost AAS DETECTING and then stops. displays AAS DETECT FAIL. Enclosed is the file, and screen shots of illustrator and signcut I've tried using all kinds of different cutters in the cutter setting in signcut. puma iii - jaguar jII 61 - Jaguar JaIII 61, just about all the ones in the list. I've uninstalled the cutter and reinstalled it with latest drivers from uscutter and also GCC. I've uninstalled signcut and reinstalled it. If I send a basic shape or text from AI to signcut and just do a regular cut all is fine. I JUST CAN'T GET IT TO CONTOUR CUT Is it my files or should I keep beating my head on the wall............ HELP trial cut traced.ai
  8. Have gone through hell since buying my ZCG. Finding an actually driver that would work (somewhat) with the unit was ridiculous. 3 USCUTTER techs logging in remotely to my computer and one from GCC and they couldn't get it to contour cut correctly(unless you call contour cutting the word TEST on an 8x11 sheet of paper successful). After trying all the Puma and Jaguar drivers i finally found one that works(somewhat) for the unit. Sometimes it takes off and cuts right, most time you have to send the job two or three times for it to work. Blade offset is way off. Other than that Want my full report check out: http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/33710-my-experience-with-my-zencut-green-and-uscutter/page__fromsearch__1 After all i went to the Sales manager gave me a $25 credit on their books. Didn't even cover the gas to go pick up the unit when i originally paid to have it shipped and they didn't. Your on your own when you buy one of these units, Lord help you if it doesn't function right.
  9. So after spending time going driver by driver I finally am getting some successful cuts using the drivers for the GCC Jaguar JII-76s.
  10. Thank you BannerJohn for the help. I have searched the forums many ways for zencut green, zencut, zen cut, green and many ways and i can't find much of anything of input about the cutter. couple of problems but no helpful responses.
  11. DUDE. I didn't hijack your thread. A forum is for all to contribute to. The thread you may have started was a thread about "which cutter" as the topic and I simply input about my experience about the GREENCUT and USCutter. Helpful information for anyone that may have a question about whether they would want to go with the GREENCUT and USCutter. I would love help with my GREENCUT. Still you fail to say what cutter you may have or give any constructive useful information yourself. If I wasn't so board I wouldn't bother responding to your totally useless posts and rants, so why don't you pass on some useful help instead of accusing me of HIJACKING your thread.........DUDE (what, are you on a surfboard with a joint in your hand)
