Mine does this when I import images that have an outline and fill color. I usually do one or the other. This also happens when I have an open path somewhere in the file that I may have overlooked. Also....a keyspan helps to cut down on issues like this, due to connection/communication issues.

-Turn on your computer & make sure your cutter is plugged into your computer before you turn the cutter on. -Check that the COM ports match (click on the following) ....although, if your computer is cutting something, it's not your com port because it is communicating. -start button -control panel -hardware & sound -device manager (under devices and printers) -ports (com & LPT)...double click this or click on the small arrow to the left -----your ports will show up. My cutter shows up as COM 3 click out of those screens & open up SignCut -Click on the cutter button at the top of the SignCut screen -Go down to the 3rd drop down menu (output device/port) and make sure the correct COM # is listed (mine should be COM3) Also...... Do you have any colored boxes with a " / " through the center of them (in SignCut)? These would be on the right side of your screen. Chances are, you need to clean up the image because there are paths that aren't completed. **You also want to make sure that you only have a fill color OR an outline color when you design and import into SignCut. If you have both (a fill color and an outline color) it will not cut properly or it will double cut when you import into SignCut. Can you tell I've had a few problems & learned from trial & error? lol! I actually really like to use SignCut (along with Inkscape) They are both really easy to use, once you figure out the quirks. Good luck!

Here's a mix of projects that I've completed lately. Some vinyl, dye sub, painting with stencils, etc... I get bored easily and I'm always switching it up. Sorry the pics are so big. These are straight off of my phone and I'm too tired right now to re-size them. lol

I am looking into buying a sublimation printer so that I can make phone cases, coasters, etc.... (not focusing on garments right now) I know that I will need a printer with high temp ink. I was looking into CIS but found out that they no longer sell high temp ink? What is my next best printer option? Can you buy the high temp ink elsewhere to use in the CIS? Thanks for any and all input!

Picking a business name?
VinylExposure replied to Coaster36's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I made a list of descriptive words & put them all together until I found something that I liked & wasn't already taken. I chose 2 of my loves, vinyl & photography, and came up with Vinyl Exposure. It's also pretty general...I make wall decals, plates, gifts, etc....I wanted a name that wouldn't lock me into just one thing. -
