the rollers are there for holding your vinyl in place once you load your vinyl the lever on back of each one allows the roller to go to tighten to hold the vinyl or loosen to adjust the postin of the roller. hope this helps, I use Signblazer software.

you are correct i have had customers come to me at swap meet ask for a price on window decals told them my price they said to high price i said thank you they walked away going over to another vendor who sells decals they came back and wanted me to make there decal. the other vendor had premade decals higher than mine. they got their custom decal made
