  8. im looking to do this image on the side of a trailer aprox 3ft by 2ft tall would it be better to vectorize it and stickit or get this printed on vinyl?

  12. I just sat down in the shop today and had a customer come in for a decal i had it and knew where it was. however once i had to search for it has anyone ever done or thought of having a printed catalog, like a display book and have different vector pictures in it so you could just find the number on picture and look on usb and just have it like that or how do you organize 75,xxx +++ vectors. that your customers can see what you have also?
  13. please let us know how this works out i know some people who would love to see the results im in the process of buying me a new computer and if i could use this then i wouldnt have to spend the extra cash to

    Technically...

to save most of the stuff that would be helpful later on i use wax paper for Reynolds wrap

using emtpy tube rolls for mailing

Ive done this Also it does help out with things not being damaged. Cause you know how fedex, ups and usps are with their carelessness on shipping stuff

    heres some of my work

it took about 1 1/2 hours it was a long process because all of it was dryed up to the sign and most of it was peeling and cracking. the only thing that looked new still was around the edges where the frame was. The method i used was to heat it up and just razor it off and then the excess was removed by the eraser and alcohol.

    heres some of my work

Here is a church sign that i did. i found out that when taking old vinyl off that has been up there for 15+ years a heat gun, razor blade and a vinyl eraser is your best friend. Also i took one at night with it light up this was my first BIG sign like this! Will do the next side soon and re do the pastor signs also

    hat press

im looking to just step in the waters of heat transfer i have me a 15x15 heat press but im looking a good quality hat press what would you all recommend?
  22. So i when to a estimate today and the customer was pleased with the work that i drawn up for them. The only thing we disagreed on was how to install it. The way the doors and stuff are, it is a openly business (multiple shops around) and the owner suggested me mirror the decals to the inside of the window instead of having them on the outside.(which is no problem) but the way he suggested it was i do the decals and install them and then he go back over it with window tint to make it POP more... So the top would be visible from a good distance away. i suggested having the decals on the outside but doing the tint on the inside and it would be a lot better and wouldnt be such a hassle for him. And also i still would warranty it from fading and stuff but i couldnt warranty it for others scratching it up and peeling them off.. And he suggest that i do them on the inside and tint over them.. Has anyone came to a point like this before and if so how did you go about it? Cause in my opinion i think doing the tint on the inside and decals on outside would be easy and less hassle. But the customer has there ways and all of having it look better than other. Will this work out by layering tint over the decals?
  23. livinloudgraphics

Customer wants it done like this.

ok so with that being said no go on the mirror images and the tint over top. i was thinking of show them how it would look before i actually cut everything and see what they say but then again i was reading about the uv protection on the adhesive side. so im going to explain and say that i recomment put them on the outside and they might have to take a risk of other messign with them?
