I mean say like a customer sends you a bunch of images. And you have to vector them and clean them up, so they will be cut-able and Everything in the price of cutting the decal and etc etc?

im having a issue with downloading font on window xp. it will let me download extract and etc but will not let me install any ideas? when it comes up in the screen it days print or done and thats it thanks

when to dafont.com hit download then opened the zip extracted and the font comes up but doesnt say install or whatnot and a bunch of fonts. when i right click it gives a option of opening it with windows font viewer but however im trying to find the program so i can download it.

Looking into the tinting side of software, basically not sure if i want to do the tinting and sell the precut in a package or whatnot. But mostly i use vinyl to do the tint strips for the top of windshields and stuff what would be a good way to find out the measurements or get a description to do this

when i go to my computer and look up a file and click on the eps file it show a error starbase.dll what is that? but opens fine in the other way when i open it thru flexi through the file open etc?

ok so how do i go about getting it back when i click on a file from this forum that is what i get it will not download or save.

I have been doing decals for about 4 years now and just now having a issue with a install, its about been about 40f -55f depending on the weather it just snowed. But im worried what could this be the vinyl im using is oracal 651 azure blue and i install the decal. heat it up a little and peel the transfer tape off. but in a couple days it starts cracking and sometimes peeling off. What am i doing wrong?? Is it the weather or what that is messing this install up. i usually dont have this trouble and this is the 1st time this has happened before

Things are looking interesting this year, And i would like to purchase more equipment looking to upgrade my cutter soon.But at this point (knock on wood) its been going great only thing is on bigger signs and such it will lose memory or whatnot and stop. So that being said i am thinking of doing a few upgrades. With my new building being setup within the next month or two i would like to add a heat press embroidery machine a nice printer to do business cards, flyers etc and a better plotter to ensure bigger and better quality signs without memory issues or just save up some extra and get a printer/plotter but im more familiar with my flexi that anything ive came across yet today seems easier to me than some softwares i have a creation 24 in pcut with flexi 8.1 now and within the last few years it has paid for itself over and over however i dont want to just get rid of it and not use it anymore but instead use it on smaller jobs that i do. As a start what would you recommend as a next level vinyl cutter who started with little to none knowledge for this work as equipment wise? As im getting better with time and more efforts into how things are done, i work like to see my hard earned hobby turn into a small business for myself.

Here is where i stand i bought a old sign shop about 4-5 years ago. the disk for the software (along with others) was in the cd pack, so i installed and been using ever since i get upgrades if need be. Would it work with any cutter on the market as i look into the setup it seems most would from the list. as i owned one cutter and it wouldnt work because of the plug i had. i mainly use usb for my computer to whatever converter i need. thinking of doing a desktop computer with a serial port would it be best on the memory part or what?

Looking into someone that can lead me in the right direction of doing some decals for me. They must be able to print on clear vinyl if not i hope there is a way we can work something out. Also in the market for a small printer to do these also and be able to do in house decals for my customer on time. i have the file ready just need to be clear on what the need is. thanks

I usually do out a 24 x however long rectangle and do it by square ft and then etc etc but i was trying to see if it was accurate or if someone had a better way to do a real time with different ways

looking more into flexi software and saw it has the job estimation does anyone use this and if so can it be accurate.. If not then what do you use?

I have a customer that wants to get some decals 3 color decals printed on clear vinyl. Approx 600+ I have the file these decals are 2 inches tall by 4 inches wide.. who do you recommend?

When running a shop or at home business do you have a sign or anything stating that your fees for vectorizing, design cost etc posted so when the customers come in they can see how things work or just a verbal conversation everytime? Do you ever have customers that don't wanna pay for your time and fees? But still want you to negotiate the price with them
