Ski Fast

I need to make new trail signs for a ski area in New Hampshire. I need a reasonable-cost, outdoor material to apply the graphics. It needs to be somewhat lightweight, durable to the elements,high-wind resistant (stiff), and not crack/break in cold temps. Any ideas would be welcome as I have not made hardly any permanant outdoor signs. Materials, cost, possible sources?
