  1. Sir, I stated that everything that tech support suggested is fine. I've been doing this for years. The blade depth is fine. You can see in the images that this cut has nothing to do with blade depth anyways. I've tried every cut speed. Nothing helps. I've tried Graphtec studio, SCALP, and Sign Lab. All cuts the same. I've tried numerous files. They all cut like garbage.
  2. This machine is just plain pissing me off. I'm officially over 2 months troubleshooting with this $1300 paperweight. Here's where I'm at. This file cuts clean on my daily machine. I'll attach the file for anyone who wants to take a look. 4drsc.EPS Tech support suggests checking the following. -blade depth -blade condition -carriage condition -blade holder -track condition All of which are fine. Default machine settings per Graphtec tech support. Every single offset tested. No positive change. I used the pen tool per tech support, Does the same thing. Rules out blade/holder issues. Any ideas at ALL would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
  3. The temperature of the vinyl and cutter is room temp. I literally can cut that design with the CE6000 using either SCAL or Graphtec Studio and get those ding marks, turn around and plug back in my old machine and cut it 100% perfect with SCAL. Would seem like a machine setting at that point, which is at factory settings. Anyways, I have a support ticket open. I've sent this pic and the file to tech support for them to cut. I'll let you guys know what I find out.
  4. I tried a few different offsets which made no positive change. Does it make sense that it only happens on text?

  6. The O, the bottom of the small D the inside of the R. Overcut?
  7. I've finally found a little time to mess with this new machine but still can't figure what's up with this problem. These files cut 100% fine on my old machine using SCAL. I've tried cutting these files with SCAL and Graphtec studio and end up with the same results. Factory settings on machine. Blade Offset set at 0 in Graphtec Studio. No option for Offset in SCAL. It cuts what seems like everything fine except for text. This isn't some bs text I vectored, it's straight off the program I use to design. Blade's fine. Machine's brand new. Files are clean. Seems like an offset issue but everywhere I've read states offset stays at 0. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.
  8. Since SBE hasnt been updated forever, which Cutter output setting are you using?
  9. There's no blade offset option when I switch to the Graphtec under the Cutter tab. There's an option on my current machine, but not that one. I'm not even remotely interested in learning Graphtec Studio or Cutting Master but if it's because SCAL is too basic for the Graphtec machine then what else can I do. I just thought I'd ask first because there seems to be a fair amount of people using it with no issues.
  10. I really don't want to learn the new software that comes with the Graphtec machine as I have well over 1000 designs saved in scut format. I did the research, and made the changes to the settings I found needed to be changed to use SCAL with this machine. Here's the problem. The blade dings letters that after looking at the nodes have corner nodes where the ding marks are made. I then tried cutting typed out text and it will ding the "d"s and "o"s like it's a blade offset issue. The machine is spec'd per Graphtec tech support. These files cut absolutely perfect with my old machine. I've read plenty of posts stating that people are using SCAL with the CE6000 with no issues. Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance.
  11. Not lining up. It has nothing to do with the file. Everything worked fine during the first 10 000 decals I made. Now it does this on cirlces, text, boxes etc...
  12. My MH cuts like garbage. Imagine that right? I've read through more threads than I care to but didn't really find what I'm looking for. My cutter cuts 90% of what I do just fine. Where the problem is this. Lines don't match up with circles or text. But not all circles or text. It has nothing to do with the file I can assure you. I tried adjusting the pinch rollers several times, I tightened the drive belt. Open to any other suggestions.

    So confused...

Lol, I'm not a noob. I've been doing this stuff for a minute. I've inspected the carriage head and blade holder several times. I've inspected the whole machine several times and don't see anything irregular. Belts tight, roller's tight, I just don't get it. I'm about to go Office Space on this piece.
  14. I've had this cutter for almost a year now and everything has been smooth sailing up until this point. A few days ago I noticed that "all of a sudden" i can;t cut the smaller details anymore. A few days has gone buy, and it seems to have gotten worse. Now, simple text decals that have "o"s or dots in them are cut jagged. I can't cut small text almost at all. Even if I get lucky and the smaller text cuts, every sharp edge is lifted. This is aggravating me. Part of me thinks the machine is dying since I've probably cut 10k decals with a $200 machine and I'm getting what I pay for. On the other hand, the machine seems like it still has the same function and life in it it did back when I got it. The track is fine. The roller is tight. I haven't found any other troubleshooting info on the topic. Is there a reset or something we can do? Thanks.
