I had downloaded that and will take another. I had only skimmed through it though because it seemed like it was mainly for pc user that use a different software and a different plotter. I'm sure many of the variables are the same so I'll go back through it. But I'm really looking for someone with my same position.

Well I just want to thank everyone for their help and replies the last few days. I just placed an order for a 24" PCut, Keyspan adapter, flexistarter 8.5 (although my shipping confirmation has a thing that says 8.6 on it??), an oracal squeegee, a little roll of oracal 651 white, and a roll of rtape w/conform to start this thing going. I'm sure I'll be on a lot with questions. Thanks again everybody!

Hello my name is Brad. I'm from the Oklahoma City area. I use to work at a sign shop right out of college for about a year and then moved on to video and animation work. I've been out of the business for the past 4 years but I really really miss the vinyl cutting. I'm thinking about buying a new plotter here in the next few hours/days. I've been lurking around the forums for about a month now, but I just decided to sign up.

One question I have... how well does small script font cut on these value cutters? Is there going to be any difference with the more expensive cutters.

I'm on a mac and I've got CS5. I will be doing most of my design in Illustrator and just need something to do simple text and a way to get the design to the plotter. The only thing I'm really going to miss with flexistarter is doing 2 color text easily like I use to do in flexiExpert.

Thanks for all the welcomes... I'm going to grab a 24" PCut. I don't really have a need for the laser... I don't think. And I'm on a mac so I will definitely be getting the keyspan. My biggest question now is if I should get flexi or not. I thought flexi starter would do outlined two color text but apparently it doesn't.
