We have been using the laptop for weeks with no problems, we will contact tech support if that dont work but we will check. Just seems odd that no problems for 3 weeks now its acting up.

Hey everyone, me and a buddy purchased this unit to letter our race cars, cut out some basic stuff to practice, cut out our numbers, look really good. I was away, he went to cut out some more stuff and said that it wont make a complete cut and keeps freezing up the computer. Once he unplugs the machine the computer works fine. We are using SB software. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ken

Thats ok, thanks everyone. After I imported it to inkscape I traced bitmap, then selected colors, update and clicked ok. Closed the little window that popped up then went to my image, right clicked and clicked on ungroup. Then i removed one layer at a time from the box, reinserted on at a time then saved each one as an eps numbered in order to layer them. Thanks again everyone for your help

Hahaha... I am going nuts. I did it at work but had to turn off comp because of the boss. I am doing a cottman trans logo. I had all the layers now I go into inkscape to try again and dont remember what I did!! Ugh!!! Lolol

Ok, the thing is when I save it in inkscape then try to open it in SB I cant find it where it says its saved to. I am sure I am doing something wrong since I am new at this. Thanks for the info!!

Thats what I did but when I go to cut it, it says file still a bitmap and everything but bitmaps will be cut.

Using signblazer and having difficulty vectorizing this picture. I monochrome it, then vectorize but it still says its a bitmap image. very new to this, have the basic stuff covered as far as letters, numbers and shadowing but not vectorizing. Thanks in advance

Hey everyone, I have a question. If I am using a number, for example with Flames and I want the flames to face towards the back of the car, how do I flip it so it is facing the back of the car on both sides. The right side is correct on my screen but not sure how to do this for the left side of the car. Still trying to figure this signblazer out. Thanks in advance

Hey gang, Hope you dont get tired of me, we are just new starting out and any help is greatly appreciated. I am looking for some number fonts for our 2 race cars. Looking for something catchy, not just plain fonts. one car will be #7x and the other car #9. Are there any websites or anything that have these available or am I totally missing something in Signblazer. Sorry for al the questions.

Hey everyone, I am very new to this. Have tried the search and need some help. How to I convert bitmap images so I can cut them using signblazer. I am cutting with a USCutter 36" laserpoint. I have the images loaded but they are in bitmap. This will be the first time ever using a cutter so dont beat me up to bad!! LOL Thanks in advance for the help
