Flexi Pro 8.6 cause it works with Vista, lol. It's the best of both worlds... design and cut. The feature list is huge, and not only can you cut from, but if you have a vinyl printer, you're set as well. I have Flexi 8.1 and love it. It took some time getting used to it, but it's basically all I use now.

Out of what the H&H site has to offer, I'd go with the FDC vinyl.

Font name... Handel Sans EF Bold

I would personally redo the font(find the font name, and retype it. Converting fonts to eps from a jpg, never really gives you good results, unless the jpg is huge.

Geometric Slabserif 712 Medium Bold BT from ParaType Geometric Slabserif 712

Yes... I'd layer the decal.
-
FYI... the only problem with doing that, is you are going to have to line up the decals perfectly against one another so that the substrate doesn't show through

Search the forum for a cross, and for angel wings, and weld the two images together... shouldn't be that hard to actually design something yourself.

The font for the top is "Cherish", and the bottom one is "Scriptina".

Would either of those work? They were made in Flexi pro 8.1, so if you tru opening it in SBE, it won't work... sorry but I don't know what the issue with that is. Welcome.eps Welcome.eps

How much for someone to print these for me!

You may was to PM ff-extreme or batshorecrations... I'm sure there are more, but I know for sure that those two members have digital printers. -
Do other "newbies" struggle with pricing like I do?
firemalt replied to barrypatch's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Pricing is one of the harder things to learn because there are so many varibles... type of vinyl, size of decal, installed or RTA(ready to apply), custom design or design supplied by customer, quantity, vinyl in stock or special order vinyl, time it takes to weed the decal... those are just a few things that go into pricing. Time is your friend on this subject... the more jobs you do and quote, the better and easier it becomes. -
If you get the edge of app tape, and fold it back over on top of itself, and slowly slide the app tape back at a 45 degree angle, you can sometime get it back off... I've done this a few time on larger decals where the app tape got wrinkles, and wasn't acceptable.

They surely don't build them like they used to! These days, you're lucky to get 100K out of a standard car.

How do I price vinyl letters?
firemalt replied to arthur712's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
If you are planning on doing custom wording, you could charge per letter so the custom can figure out the pricing dirently from your website, rather than waiting to hear back from you... that would most likely cause a customer to go somewhere else(waiting for a reply). For pricing, I'd highly recommend SignCraft's pricing guide, or some type of pricing software. Good luck...
