Yep I agree, But as the customer is matching one she made of cloth, and did look pretty sharp, I am as usual stuck between doing it right, Or making the customer happy :-\ Anyhow the above contact is close enuff and actually has a very light blue available in 13oz for only $10 more than USCs 10oz. I will give them a go........ Thanks again for the help.

Thank you for your time.... Another question, I am doing my first banner and want to know if Black Vinyl (651) will stand out enough if I go with the standard Pre Made Blue color Banners.. Thanks again.....

Does USC make 13oz PreMade Banners in Variety of colors? Sizes? I see the 10oz but wanted 13oz for outside use......... If not, Where can I get these close to the Northwest area? Thnx.....

I am using scrap Oracle 651 for some acid etch work on glasses, This works fine unless the glass has too much curvature. Is there something else I should use that would handle this application better? I wanted to avoid Sand blast resist because I may have issues with its thickness.. Thanks....

So I Figured I would pop in a new blade since this being my first machine, I am sure the first month was rough on it. I was unable to set the depth to what it was, Turns out my cutter came with 2 short ones and a longer one? What gives? Wrong parts? Or would I have a use for this longer blade???

Should be a check box in your application- SignCut I assume? I think its called a weed border... uncheck it......

I have had similar issues. I have chalked it up to the way the media curves up in the middle due to what I assume is feed rollers and or pinch rollers imperfections. If my media is all on one lower roller im fine but if I center it over both, it wont track more then 3in without scrunching up in the middle. Also the thickness of this stuff tends to make it HANG off the front instead of ROll which depending on the rigidity of it would try to pitch the back up a bit I would think...... Talked to anyone who has run a 3rd pinch roller? If you get if figured let me know please.

I agree, Ive read till my eyes bleed and I am going Graphtec, the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the CE5000 package USC has, is that the FC8000 is what I really really want.....

Yes, Please, Many of us use SC, maybe you can help save someone 60' of vinyl.

The above post was just a sample of the wierdness that was going on with my setup- The fix for all my issues seems to have been a full RE-Instalation of the SCP software. I have now Calibrated Offset and sucessfully contour cut a custom graphic from Corel. Cheers.....

Ive read till my eyes hurt but apperently thats not enough... I use the letter bombsights in the singncut Template Directory, For the sake of clarity I use the flames graphic in the examples Directory since it has a4 bombsighsts I delete those and recenter the graphic and cut lines. Print on letter paper, put in cutter, Bottom of graphic to RIGHT of cutter. Send cut to SCP,Select Simple contour cut. Jog to first mark. Hit next. Cutter moves in direction of next mark but only 1 inch. I was under the impression it should move closer to mark #2...anyway, Jog to second mark( Top Left Of Graphic).....Hit cut, Cutter spits paper out the back ..........and reads waiting.... I have tried many different variations, Ive used 11x17 paper to simulate a carrier sheet, I have used the rotate 90 degree function so the Bombsights being used are the ones on the bottom of the graphic. I have enabled the 3point function as well but had even less luck with that. Cutter is cutting/Plotting fine from this application , and SingBlazer Contour cut Function seemed to work, Id just prefer the workflow of SCP. Many hours of reading always lead me To pacos tutorials but I am guessing they are for an older version?Shouldnt the supplied Templates work? I put in a ticket with SCP, but that was 5 days ago, no response. Any help much appreciated.....
