What do you have as a wallpaper?
Dellrose Custom Lighting replied to JoeCamaro's topic in Off Topic Section
It sure aint our pumper. We have a Ferrara pumper on a GMC chassis, and our station is an old bank from back in the early 1900's. It was also the local phone company, general store, and I anit sure what else back then. -

FM, I like how that came out. What would you charge a fellow firefighter/forum member for one of those? I love it!! We actually had a structure fire yesterday afternoon, and was able to save it. -

Accounting Software
Dellrose Custom Lighting replied to CyberSultan's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
The main thing that I like about peachtree is that I can inventory all of my stuff, when I actually get t all entered, and that way I know what I have on hand. I mainly bought for when I was doing more lights, but that is probably fixin to change as I am about tired of messin with a customer that doesnt like anything that I do. -

I have an original drawing that I am trying to vectorize and am not having luck. I have been using inkscape, and when I save it as an .eps, it dont show up in the folder that I saved it to when I try to open it with SBE. If some one could help, I sure would appreciate it. I have also attached a copy of the original drawing. Thanks, Jason

recently completed ambulance (euro style)
Dellrose Custom Lighting replied to cg_media's topic in Show your work
I dont think most of the trucks out there have near enough on them. Some people out there just dont seem to want to slow down when coming upon a scene. I have heard that starting Nov. 1, it will be federal law that you have to have ANSI certified vest when ever you are on scene and have to be in the road way. -
I need some help.

Thanks, I will try vectorizing this one in inkscape and see what happens. If it dont work, I will let you know. -

Do you have link for that website? I really like the way that it did the shading on it. I saved the pic from the link, but I still could not open it up in SBE. I does not have the .PNG extension in the list. -

Alternative to using a keyspan Vista and XP
Dellrose Custom Lighting replied to mortalimmortal's topic in General discussion
That would be nice as long as I knew that it wouldnt lose signal in the middle of transferring a file to the cutter. -
I am still trying to decide on a new computer, and was wondering who is using XP or Vista. Right now I am using my laptop w/XP, my cutter is the LP 24, and am using the serial cable connected to a usb-serial converter. If I was to get a desktop with Vista, can you install a serial card, and will sign blazer work with Vista with out any problems?? Just wanting to make a good decision as this will be my main graphics comp when I get. And I heard that XP does not have Microsoft support any more, and would like something that will be around for just awhile. Thanks, J. Gray

XP vs Vista
Dellrose Custom Lighting replied to Dellrose Custom Lighting's topic in General discussion
Like I said earlier, I have very little experience with vista, which is one reason that I would like to use XP. At least I wouldnt have to learn it all over again.
