    vectorizing people

Thanks Joe!! I had not thought of using Photoshop. I have to use Inkscape and SB. My Adobie Illistrator is only a tryout version, and it won't allow me to save anything. :thanks:

    Have you seen this site??

This is very interesting! Do you know if Inkscape can use the .ai, files? I don't have AI-9 or corel. :snow: [move]Still 80 degrees in sunny Florida!! :jumping:[/move]

    ebay store

I sell quite a bit on Ebay as well. The only problem I see is in finding the right Product. If you search "stickers" you might get 900 hits. So there is a lot of competition! The new Ebay search feature is not like the old one. It now searches for more "exact matches" of titles. Make sure that you Title your item so that it will show up in the general gallery as most of the others. If you don't a lot of people will miss your auction because they searched for "Bumper Stickers."
  7. Thanks Ken! DUH........it works better now.
  8. will try right away!! Thanks Ken!! I may still have to get with you tho!! Bob
  9. Hey Krunk! I see that you own a 1200 as well. I have had to do a lot of "tweaking" to get mine to work and, it still is not 100%! Do you at least have the 1200 in your SB dropdown menu for cutter set-up? I don't, I have to use a copam driver and it cuts mirror all the time! Bob
  10. I don't seem to have the 1200 in my drop down menu.
  11. You don't really have to unscrew the blade holder, and push the blade in. Just use the the threaded part of the blade holder to adjust the length of the blade. Unscrew the holder for shorter blade. Screw it in for a longer blade. Tracking is still an issue no matter what Y axis direction i move in, with arrows or against them. Dragon, you use a pCut 1200 48 inch too? Please some one tell me what driver they are using in the SB dropdown menu for the 1200??
  12. The blade should stick out the same distance from it's holder, as the thickness of your vinyl but, not much further. With regard to your second question, I have the same tracking problem that you do. With the same machine. I can be off as much as 1/4 inch per foot of y axis travel. Are you using SignBlazer? I do have mine on the stand. So I think the best thing to do is get in touch with Ken after the holidays. What driver do you have selected for your machine? Thx
  13. do you have it on the UPS side? In other words, does the UPS power the cutter if electricity fails? thx
  14. Trust me, ya still don't have much with Vista Home Premium either!
  15. Hey, just wondering if anyone has successfully used a UPS power supply with their pcut? It does not have to run for long, just long enough to properly shut down. thx all !!
