    Makeing SB portable

Hacking? hahahahaahahahaha. all that does is let you run it without having to install it. YAWN! heehhehehehe Please don't refer to this as hacking software, because it isn't anything close to breaking the software apart, or/and it's a waste of time IMO. Maybe someone will find a use for it though, so no foul here. Whatever floats your boat! I just install and click the crack, no more trial. Pretty EZ IMO. Rodger, I see where you were coming from when they said hacking, I know you love SB and were just trying to protect it from unlawful intentions........... The gal should have said portable and left it alone. Hacking does sound bad in the same sentence ehehhehehehehe Needless to say, this is useful software, thanks to the OP for the post Hacking.... hehehheheh I love USC Forum, it's to FUN! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    DONGLE FOR A SIGN BLAZER

You don't need a dongle for the software any longer. The 5.5 is the hotshot version of the software. Just go to www.mystat.com scroll to the bottom of the page andf download version 6.05 from there Hope this helps, and throw your dongle in the trash lol
  12. Like I said above, call us cults or what have you........ so be it. You buy cheap you get cheap. If I were buying for my business, it sure wouldn't have been an MH series, I have a LP series cutter. If I wanted to go in business making signs, I would have bought a Roland, Zencut, or some other high end cutter. Let's face it, you bought an MH Chinese cutter, and then USC turned around and remedied your problem..... but....... you get on here and bash the tech guy's that solved your problem? I'm lost here, but there's not much respect anymore for anyone or anything these days. I get the gist of what your saying, but then you turn around after they solve your issues and repeat what someone says about their coworker to get something started up? I really don't follow you at all, but then again, I think I see that it's just to start drama because you finally bought a (business) type cutter, instead of a hobbiest cutter. I'm finished with this post, it's ignorant to me. Have a great day!
  13. WWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Good grief already! Drama, drama, drama! Ok, I get it, your mad at Levi and Brandon................ I for one have never had a problem with either one, and if I do I'll talk to them, not set on a forum all week and cry my eyes out and go on and on about it. You'd think it was a roland or a piece of gold that was stolen, if it were me I would have taken the thing apart myself and fixed it long ago. They aren't very hard to fix at all, and very inexpensive for parts, like I said, it's not a Roland, it's a $300.00 buck cutter. I blow more than that on junk a month ehehehheheeh I hope this thread dies real fast, enough drama is enough already. My 2 cents

    Plywood Type Boards????

Ok, guy's, I'm going nuts here. I've looked all over the earth and back. I met an old, old sign guy a few years back. This guy was using this plywood looking 4x8 sheets and it was very very light. Looked around 1/2 thick as well. It looked as if he was painting this with some sort of paint. My question is, I've seen this material used all over the place here in N.C. for vinyl lettering signs. I'm getting ready to pull the old hair out of my head here! Gezzzz, I know it sure isn't partical board, first rain and that things mush! Does Anyone know what the crap this stuff is And where to buy it. I think the old guy was getting it from lowes or home depot according to him, but I've looked all over and drove for hours to local hardware stores including Ace Hardware stores trying to find this stuff. Again, this stuff looks like plywood, and maybe painted slick surface. No it isn't plastic, metal, or corrugated. I'm lost Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!! P.S. I think they use this for reality signs as well...... What a headache Here's a not very great picture of the kind of board I'm talking about, don't know if any of you can see it though. I'll have my uncle take a better pic of his sign though and I'll post it up

    Plywood Type Boards????

Hey Raven, thanks for the reply, it's MDO 2 faced board. They carry it here at the local building supply. For all of you that do not know, you can buy this board for like $34.00 bucks. I primed mine with a really good sealer and then used exterior latex semi gloss. Customer loves it like mad, and the old guy's here have been usung this for years and it holds up for years and years. There's alot of moisture here since we are 15 miles from the ocean, but if you use a really good sealer and paint all the customer has to do is keep it pressure washed a couple times a year because of the mold and mildew (Try to get a really good mold and mildew resistant paint. Hope this helps

    50% deposit etc

HA! You can tell you live in Canada, just last month I did a 2 color 4x4 sign for a realty company, lady didn't even look at it, it looked great! She ask over the phone how much it was going to cost.........(Told her previously the amount) She preseded to tell me it was to expensive for their taste. But on the other hand, just heat the letters and peel them off and reuse the sign, only out the vinyl and time I guess. I'm collecting 50% up front now though, sign board isn't cheap! Just like computers, times are hard, I have over 24 computers in shop that noone can pay for, had to extend my 30 day abandon policy to help some out. Guess it's all up to you, but I would collect 50% first IMO

Don't even know where to start!

Every one already knows my opionion on these machine, Pcut is the best by far in my book. I have the Laserpoint 24" and love it like mad. I wouldn't trade it for a roland thats for sure, cuts anything I want it to cut, doesn't matter how small, and for the price you can't beat it. I'm not to much on the refines, to many problems for my taste. Anyhow, thats just my 2 cents, yours may vary heehee
