Help me under stand the Heat press!
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to bsworks75's topic in Heat Presses
heat transfer material is very easy to use especially if you are already accustomed to using sign Vinyl. Heat Transfer Vinyl has a backing/carrier sheet that is the layer between the vinyl and the hot press. This carrier sheet is essentially your mask and you will see this after you cut in "Mirror" image, weed the material, lay on the shirt and it will read right. many different colors, fashion prints glitters out in the market these days. Good luck and don't forget to pre-press -
Startup Questions, need help selecting a plotter

We Recommend the Roland GX-24, this is a proven great cutter and comes with Roland cut studio software in which everything you design with this program is already wire-framed. This machine can cut small pieces up to 24 inch wide material. Roland will never leave you behind, they have great tech support if you have any problems. We purchased this cutter for samples in our own shop and it works great for easy cuts like names and number and it is amazing what it can do with the high detailed cut images. Good luck and don't forget to press press -
Burnout shirts with vinyl?
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to VolleyChick's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Most vinyl on the market today works great with blends, but like previous posts always test when you are working with new materials. We were just at a trade show and saw companies selling shirts that looked like they had been worn for 25 years already. what is going on with this industry, haha. Good luck with everything. -
We sell easy weed by the yard and can get you down to $6/yard.

Trying to find a transfer paper that doesn't leave a slight film where not cut
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to outhouse's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
There are laser papers that are trim-free (self weeding) that work great for light colored garments. I am not sure about stahls material, but i know our thermoflex layers great and yes you would do an entire design in two colors, separate them on the computer, cut them, and than eye it or use a ruler or a laser to place them on the garment. -
Heat transfer vinyl or printed transfers?
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to Dbannon's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Cutting vinyl for a heat press is a great option for jersey names and numbers. you think about how many names you can cut out on a yard of material and charge a $5-8 a name your profit margin is well worth it. Iif a customer is looking for a multi colored job, depending how many colors, vinyl will layer. Custom transfers are always an option for high numbered color jobs as well. but like any thing your cost does go up with more colors. Laser and inkjet papers are available for heat transfer as well, but the quality you get with those will never surpass vinyl or custom transfers except with there capabilities to transfer photos. -
Different Heat Press Vinyl Brands
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to Steel546's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
We distribute both and we have customers that hate or love both of them. Depending on what type of feel you expect from apparel vinyl is what you need to go for. If you want the ease of a product to cut weed and press than you need to sample both. With our knowledge, Spectra material is siser easyweed to don't go to far out of your way for renames. Good luck and don't forget to pre-press. -
Laser transfer vs ink jet
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to dlilazteca's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
We recommend one thing, never tell a customer no. Even though you don not have a screen printer, there are custom transfers out there with incremental pricing per sheet you receive. With our custom transfers you can fit what ever you can on a 11x17 sheet. We screen print your art onto paper and you would get them and press them on for a fast 4-6 seconds. first off what kind of printer do you have, no need to go buy a new one, yet! do a couple jobs with what you have first to see how you like the out come. we have tested both inkjet and laser and after washing they seem to have both kept their colors. Keep conducting your research and you should be just fine. Good Luck and don't forget to pre-press. -
Looking for someone to print me a few tshirt transfers
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to duck1973's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
We can print you custom screen printed transfers but for the number of prints you are looking for the pricing probably wouldn't work out for you. If you ever need a large run of shirts and need a screen printed feel just let us know. We can also offer you inkjet or laser transfers for this small job, print them yourself on transfer paper. We sell sample packs so no need to purchase 100 sheets if you didn't want to. -
Sign Vinyl? No, this vinyl will not work. We sell material by the yard so if you don't want a lot of material this could be an option for you. Heat press vinyl comes a lot of colors and patterns these days. If you are in the sign business and you have a digital printer, we have material for that as well with many finishes like chrome, matte, glossy, cracked. There are tons of options in the world of heat transfer material. give us a call if you have any questions. 1-888-819-4421. Good luck and don't forget to pre-press.

help with heat press please
Heat Transfer Warehouse replied to lindalin's topic in Clamshell Heat Press Discussion or Support
We recommend that you turn up the heat, Siser material tends to stick to material with-in 5 seconds to help with layering. The longer time is there to make sure you get a good adhere to the fabric. If you continue to have problems, contact your supplier and let them deal with siser directly. Good Luck and don't forget to pre-press.
