  1. I have a CT-630 that i have been using for quite some time with no problems. Last week, i was moving the head using the pad on the unit, and it would 'skip' or lurch. Meaning that it will move a few inches and stop, move/stop, move/stop, etc. It does this in all directions, and also will do it if i send a job. I can also feel the stepper motors jerking even when the head stops moving. I pulled the covers off, blew out all the dust, checked for loose connections, and all seemed to be ok. Reassembled it and it worked just fine for several large sized jobs. Now this morning, it's doing the same thing. I cannot find any information on this, and am really stumped. I dont believe it is a software problem, as it happens if i feed it manually using the control pad, or if i send a job. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
