    Not Vinylized ...But ........

Very nice work man, I hate watermarking things I make but the few times I didn't mark proofs I sent, I regretted later. Thanks for sharing your work I get inspired when I see talented pieces like this.

Great Scott! LOL, very nice work. I told myself the same thing when I did 20 one off coros for local businesses. They look great though.

    work accomplished tonight

My wife made some wine classes for a friend's wedding. We have a few that sit on a shelf but have never been used or washed so I can't tell you about durability. We told her friend that they will be ok at the reception but we don't know if they will hold up much longer then that.

    brushed aluminum dibond sign blanks

Yeah after shipping you will probably be around the same price as the full sheet and have material to use in the future.

Not to worried about a binge to drown your sorrows but be careful that Mr. Daniels doesn't move in permanently.

Hey Petro, why isn't your wife on the forum? Or is it your little secret, ha ha.

LOL! I try not to start playing past 9:00 pm because I get excited and don't want to go to bed. Are you a gun guy / shooter? Fisherman or . . . I still haven't purchased a fishing license this year but truly believe that is a very negative thing when it comes to my sanity and day time productivity. I haven't been following my own advice lately and do notice the burned out feeling coming on. I talked with a very old, long lost friend today and we are going to try and get a short fishing trip in next weekend.

    problem importing picture properly

The camo on the helmet won't come out rite unless your final output is fairly large. The stars on the small shield are pretty tinny as well.

X3 on the state assistance. Even if it's not permanent you can most likely get some sort of in home care. Check out your local disability, SSI, Medicare agencies.

Plbrooks and boomdawgdesigns both offered to do embroidery for me on the thread I started.

    Starting to loose it.

You have to make and take time for yourself. You'll go crazy for sure if you don't. Some sort of outlet or downtime. Even if it's only a 30 minutes a day you have to have something to look forward to. Morning walk, a TV show, go sit at Starbucks and talk to a pretty girl, anything you will enjoy.

My advise is to realize that you are doing really good. I'm sure your dad is having a hard time dealing with your mom's health issues. Not sure if there is anything that can be done to help him deal with it but that would definitely get him off your back. From what you have told everyone you are holding your home / family together and that is not an easy job especially since your other family isn't stepping up to do it. Keep on trucking and talk to your dad about whats going on.

    Tablet?

Yeah as long as you are running a full windows OS on the tablet you will have access to most any software already available. I believed that the Windows tablets were a mobile based OS and not a full Windows. The mobile version has apps but can't run windows programs.
  19. Hey everyone, currently my family and I live in central California. I have lived here most of my life. There is really nothing keeping us here anymore and we are not fond of a few things about this area. A couple negative aspects are the HEAT, high unemployment rate, high cost of living and California's many laws and regulations. This is a great time for us to move because I now have enough credits to transfer to a state college or university. The local colleges are priced a good amount higher than schools in other areas / states so . . . My wife used to live in Kingwood Texas (a suburb of Houston) and loved it there. Everything about that area looks pretty good so far to me but I see that there are a TON of sign shops in the direct area she used to live in. I am not sure yet if I will be continuing to run a sign business full time or just on the side. Cost of housing / living are pretty important as well as the unemployment rate. I will be working some but mainly concentrating on school so the cheaper the better. Any tips will be greatly appreciated

    Tablet?

I would be pretty surprised if there is such a thing. You can get an adapter to plug the micro usb port into the USB on the cutter but there is not any software available for tablets or phones that I am aware of. If you are using an economy cutter then I recommend a desktop computer with windows XP or 7 and a serial cable. Lots of software available and very stable. A laptop will work but again for economy cutters you don't want to run it with USB. Buy a Keyspan adapter to use the serial connection.

Thinking about relocating, who loves where they live?

I am a big fan of Washington but my wife isn't. She is largely affected by gloomy, dark or overcast weather. I prefer clouds and rain over death heat any day though. We pushed back the move to January to give us more time to look around. Kingwood, TX is still number 1 on the list mostly because my wife really liked living there. I have never been but think there is probably a better choice somewhere.

    best magnet

Really? Never thought of cutting magnetic material before, wouldn't it be more likely to be pulled of by wind? I have heard that it is always recommended to round the corners to it won't get blown off.
