Figures... I was really looking forward to getting rid of those pvw files Thanks for the help
-
I just dloaded the file and tried to install... it keeps wanting to install it as SB elements.. I have Pro, is this the same update or elements only? Thanks
-
can you post the file?
-
Do you know what version that update is?

If you're asking me.. yes right at the cutter. I realize it doesn't solve the test cut problem.. but if that's the only problem you're having, take the cutter offline press the "DN" button and then use the cursor keys to cut a test square and the press the "UP" button. I always test cut manually..

My Pcut cuts about a 1" x 1/4" test square... so that would be normal. Ken, My X and Y are as you listed... I see this question more and more. Are you seeing a trend?

Usually Blue is 45 deg, Red 60 deg and yellow is 30 deg. flagme, the attachment will help with blade adjustment and pressure Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf -
There are a few places online that you can create PDF files.. a least for the ones you don't care about security https://online.primopdf.com/Default.aspx You can get older versions of Adobe pro for not much $ I've been using the same version for years without a problem.

Small sections of letters uncut, what should I do?
Popeye replied to EHovind's topic in General discussion
Yep, I'd try a few different settings and see which work best... you'll get it dialed in before you know it -

There is a way to make a straight cut along the material without software?
Popeye replied to Kittycut's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
I don't have a refine but can't you take it offline, drop the blade and use the panel cursor keys and cut... I do that when I want to manually cut a box around something.. -

45 is what it comes with but you'll need to get the "offset setting" adjusted in the software. For blade depth adjustment, pressure and cleaning refer to attached Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf -
Five, Which versions are you comparing? SBE to Starter and SB Pro to Flexi Pro? Thanks

Cutting Thicker Material
Popeye replied to bellinghamkiteboarding's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
I cut card stock a lot.. 60deg blade is the way to go IMHO. I also added 2 pinch rollers and that kept the material from slipping. See attached for proper blade adjustment Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf -
The thing that bothers me is I upgraded to the SB Pro dongle version... Other than it's inability to import DXF, DWG, EPS, and AI files consistently I haven't had a problem. But what happens when I do?? No support from the MFG is bad. US Cutter steps up to the plate again... thats Customer Service !!

I cut card stock all the time without a problem.. It sounds like blade and pressure setting are wrong as well as a software setting (slashing) blade adjustment attached Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf Blade Adjustment-rev-01.pdf
