Alright, I already have the Aston logo which I am putting on a large (2x6) banner for myself because I really like Aston Martin. What I would also like to add is a vector of an Aston.... DB7, DB9, Vanquish, Vantage, DBS, DBRS I am open to any of those. Problem is I am having a heck of a hard time finding them. Anyone have a vector of any of those cars? Thanks!

Its easy, just open the PDF with Ai and if it is in vector form you can just pull it right off there

I agree with you 100% haha I also subscribed. I have wanted to do a time lapse for a while now, maybe this will make me give it a shot! -
Looks pretty thick in the external tanks. I am not too worried I will buy and put pigment ink in it anyways when the tanks are close to empty. I just got it yesterday and have done some test printing with it, I am pretty happy with it. I also like that I literally plugged it in, installed the software and could print within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box. I wasn't looking for a task to get it all set up with the ink. Cobra Ink does some nice work IMO.

How can you tell if they are pigment or dye ink? Is there an easy way to tell? lol Before you said that... I was already wondering how I would be able to tell...

For cutting in general? or for contour cutting? Its confusing as hell if you are just starting out lol I couldn't figure out why the "print" button wouldn't work Tech at GCC is great though, they helped me figure out I needed to hit "Output" and then at a later date once I had more vinyl I couldn't open my ai CS5 file type and she helped me with that as well.

Ya I was pretty sure it was a joke... Your using it to promote yourself... AND promote that people Google search. If anything they should have bought you the cards! lol I have seen those done several times, not bad and they are funny/amusing. Only thing I dont like is that you have no logo or anything on there ya know? I have seen your "logo" if you will and you dont have any illustrations or anything but still. They do work tho! Nice job Joey! -
Incorrect. I just bought my Epson 1100 with 50ml pigment ink tanks from him for $249 (including printer). Its all preinstalled, bleed and ready to use which is what I need because I will need this out of the box to be ready. Richard is a great guy to deal with, They seem very professional there. Also does the CISS you bought include the waste tank and waste removal system? I was also going to buy the printer and then do it myself but when I started looking at the benefits of going with his system and then added it up... I knew it was the best deal (for me at least). If you break it down, the printer was $130 + $65 for the CISS which equals $195 (without ink?) I know some sell with ink and some dont. IF it doesn't have ink then add $60 for pigment ink and your more than the $249 from him, installed and ready to go lol.

I also have a GCC, I do not believe I can contour cut... tho in the Great Cut software there is an option... and it does show my cutter on the list?

I hope that was a stock template or something lol otherwise Google might have something to say about that one! They look nice though, look like good quality cards. -
Where to host website?
CollinJ replied to xJoey Dubsx's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I believe mine was a flat rate (or maybe I chose to pay that way, I don't remember) and was about $70 for the whole year, then $1.99 a month for a dedicated IP. Never got my moneys worth, never really did anything with the site. Now I just have a blog to show off some of my work. Its like a make-shift portfolio for now(for my graphic design work). -

Upstream gaming is where mine was hosted. Fair prices, no complaints. -
Your not modifying it though thats the thing. With the 1100 you dont need to cut anything, they just find a way to fit it in without cutting or changing anything. It feeds ink into an ink tank sitting in the normal print head with the big external tanks velcro(ed) to the outside of it. no modifying

Ya Richard at Cobra Ink you can ship him yours BUT it is cheaper to just buy it filled and ready to go from him as well.

Microcenter is a very reliable store. I get stuff from them all the time. hmm I mean I see some good ratings, but then also see a ton of really really bad ones. I know they actually have stores too though. I am keeping my eye on one form Cobraink with the CISS w/ pigment ink pre-installed and loaded with ink. Ready right out of the box!

ooo nice find! how reliable is that site though? o nvm not too good with a 3.xx rating out of 10

Messing around with static cling and glass etch....

WOW what a roll of "sample" vinyl! Mine is about 30" wide and probably 5-8yards! SWEET! -
Hey I was just wondering if anyone had any good vectors of tools you would find in a garage. No real rush, no job is waiting on the, I was just going to cut some for the gearheads in my colleges car club. Maybe throw some on my tool chests or something. Post em if ya got em!

Ok so I have a vinyl cutter and could cut it, but the customer would like it to be 3-4 feet across and my cutter is only a 24". I could do this with my cutter and just put the 2 pieces up next to each other but I thought I would get some pricing from other members. I have the .eps file from him and it is a 5 color vinyl. The 5 colors are red, black, white, a medium silver/gray and then a lighter silver/gray. Its basically a square as far as dimensions go. The logo is just a "V" and a "C" (all interlinked and stuff, not just a V and C) Looking to get a price on a 3ft and a 4ft separately. Basically ready to apply and then I will take care of applying it and all that stuff. I would say it would have to be out of Oracal 651 (or similar quality). If the price is good enough for me not to worry about applying several separate pieces, you'll get the job. Thanks!

need immediate pricing help

How complicated if the weeding on it? Simple logo? Did they give you a vector or do you have to convert it? For me, with my 24" cutter just starting out I would be about $5 each or so at that size. BUT with the quantity of 200+ I would probably do them for around $3-5 each. Hope this helps a little bit at least -
