Nevermind I didnt fix it. Is is possible the blade is dull? Its used and i dont know when it was last changed.

No not for everything. I took apart the blade and put it back together again and it seems to be working ok now but im not cutting as much but we will see i guess it was the blade but i dont understand why. Thanks for your help! I will come back if it starts doing it again im not enirely sure how i fixed it.

Its not the blade i checked. Its the cutter its not going down to the vinyl its cutting in the air but only for some letters.

I watched it and it acted like it was cutting but didnt lower to the paper it was just cutting in the air for a split second then went back down and continued. What is a good speed? Its been cutting fine until now so I think the blade is fine but I will look into it.

it was typed there is no mark its completley skipped

My MH 871 is skipping peieces when cutting. for example i cut the words "Mary had a little lamb..." 7x and one of them was missing the "l" in little and others were missing the "a" or only cutting half a letter. Do i need to switch the blade? whats the problem?

I think we will just buy vinylmaster. I will look into that adapter thank you! My mom bought the cutter for her new buisness and she talked the seller down quite a bit and she can barley afford this one so we will just have to make it work until the buisness starts getting some traction. (If you know anyone in Utah send them to Evans Woodworks for fun crafts and parties haha) Thanks so much for your help I really apreciate it!

We downloaded it from a link on one of these forums it downloaded wrong the first time and filled our whole desktop with individual files for the whole system so i deleted everything and downloaded again. I have to learn how to use this cutter then teach my mom so I think we are just going to invest the $50 in Vinyl Master. Thank you for your help!

I did download the driver and the com port is matched. Is there any easier systems to use that you know of that would work for my cutter?

Thanks. Now ive tried this and it isnt cutting. the port is correct i really have no clue what im doing. I hit Test and it did a perfect test cut what could be wrong?

HELP! Im learning how to use signblazer and my cutter is not listed in the options! which one do i click? I have the US Cutter MH871 MK2
