I started with a titan and now use a graphtec and still have the titan as a backup but what a difference with certain work. Good for you keep go stay motivated this field is filled with so many people and most I met here are extremely helpful and it’s awesome community to reference back too!

That explains why after 2 weeks when I got it I had to replace my yellow. I called sawgrass and they told me that was normal. I’m not joking I lost it till I did some more homework and it is maintenance but shouldn’t have lasted only 2 weeks. Long story short I got a new yellow and it seems to be a lot better. I’m due for a first change in C & M now lol

So I’m a big saints fan living in NY as some of you know and I couldn’t pass up this font I found in my illustrator. Love the font. Well without further ado I’m sure you’ll all get this if you watched any playoff football this season.

I use illustrator and since your use is going to be for your company I would totally recommend it. I believe I paid $200 for a year but I promise it’s well worth the investment. I use a graphtec and I can save my files right in AI and send it right to my software from my machine and it cuts beautiful. Definitely don’t forget to mirror your design, I learned fast after wasting some vinyl and now it’s just in my head permanently from preventing me from losing money hahah i heard that if you have the right transfer (for heat clearly) you can always lay it over your un-mirrored image and transfer like that but I never tried nor do I want to I rather do it right the first time but as you learn maybe it will save you vinyl if you make mistakes.

The pressure reading was what really caught my attention over the auto open honestly lol I never heard of that feature showing pressure but then again Im a small shop just trying to grow. now let me as you can I force it open if i happen to activate the auto open or do I just have to run the time and let it open on its own? awesome to know I can alway find parts I really like that. Does the platen it come with good enough for most hats ? I would hate to purchase and then get a few different style hats and learn the hard way that I need to purchase a few platens at $75 each. Im all for investing in what I teach myself if it makes me money, but so this price point you agree is 110% worth it? I know I said I don't do high volume but I do always like spending my money in the right equipment plus I work a full time so if it cost me a little out of pocket for a little Im sure once I get the hats on the market and my etsy shop I can make some back quickly. again thanks goose your feedback is much appreciated.

I got F&M’s sample sheet this past weekend and I finally had time to text the formula that I was interested in. Let me tell you I’m super impressed and I just hope it holds up to the wash test. I did go a little high on temp but that’s cause every review said to raise it as well as I saw a lot of YouTube videos showing the issues. So off the bat I put it to 355 with heavy pressure for 10 seconds and it came out beautiful. Clearly this is now a demo shirt and I don’t own the rights to this logo it’s just clearly what they sent me in the free sample packaging. Lol

Hey everyone good morning ! So I been poking around here and I know UScutter does not sell screen printing presses or even a small home DIY kit. So I was curious seeing so much information on this forum. Does anyone here screen print ? I know it’s mainly for high quantity orders but I’m extremely interested and would like to hear from some people with first hand experience. Believe me I’m not trying to jump into this but I’m a very curious person and I been on YouTube for weeks now just to see the field itself. I definitely understand it’s no walk in the park and plus I have no room for it. Just like hearing story’s so hopefully I hear back from some of you ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome & to me it seems to be communication issue. If it was a motherboard issue I believe you wouldn't get as far as you been getting. Softwares can also due the trick. I would go with what skeeter is saying, if all fails maybe invest in a different setup if the budget is there ?

I did hear about programs for pc and not for Mac so I always considered it but I’m just an in home shop at the moment so I never really spent much time on the PC topic or getting something together so cheap like that. Thanks I’m looking into that now! Have you had issues with windows 10? I heard a lot of people had some issues when they released an update I believe. Especially with the sawgrass printer that I have the 400 model.

I might have to buy a PC now I didn't know this & had my graphtec almost a year now. (may) Mac works flawless though I know many people are not a fan from what I see / read but thankfully nothing major here.

Grouped it basically making them moveable together after you set everything where you wanted it and keeping it locked to one another. every program I have used has been a little different but its called merge or join do do what I believe your trying to do.

if I'm understanding correctly I believe you just have to highlight the whole design and merge / or join and it will basically imprint the text in the box.

Yes that’s exactly what I was aiming towards and I thought about it and your right I’m sure that they should be safe because your right I see that they are a big company and it would be super silly of them to be that lenient with selling designs like those stocks. There is a section that actually says as seen on amazon, as well as most popular. Like I said I don’t plan to steal anything but it’s good to know at some point down the line if someone asks me for something and FM some how has it I can use it to save time depending how many are needed and know that I’m covered and not breaking any sort of copyright or rules.

Yeah that’s what I was assuming. I plan on not using them but I would just like to know to protect myself and do the right thing by anyone.
