i have a image of a word that i want a certain size but i cant get it with out distorting it. I have VM pro, is there something i am doing wrong? Heres a picture of the word i am talking about.

I vectorized it in VM pro. I want it 40" long and between 4-6" tall. When I size it to 40 inches its only 2 1/2 inches tall.

I was thinking the same. Any idea what font it is? i agree it looks basic but the b and s look different.

I know this should be simple to do but i have been racking my brain trying to figure it out. Can anyone help me by telling me how to do something like this in Vinyl Master pro?

so like adding a contour to it? or just make it a little bigger?

Is that in vinylmaster? I see the knife tool but it will not let me select it.

so just duplicate say the @ symbol then punch out the one over the logo. Then drag the other into the space made by the punch out? While i have you here Vinylmaster, how do i get the knife tool to highlight so i can use it?

The @ cut out of the logo is what i need to learn to do. Sorry i was not clear in my first post.

Yes the colleen is included with VM pro. I was just going thru the fontmanager option and theres like 5 different versions of it. Whan i get get back to my computer i will tell you exactly how to get to it.

No it was in Font manager. I will see what it was under tomorrow. I know it was under Fancy but the exact folder, i will have to look but the picture is the way it came out.

Oh and the name of the font is "COLLEEN".

I was told to open a ticket because i cant make the knife tool in VM pro 4.0 titan edition clickable to use also, i tried one of the fonts in font manager and it looks really choppy. why would that be? Here is the picture of the font named Colleen.

That was just typing it from VM's factory fonts that come with it. I would never cut this and let it go.

That was after i vectored it. I ran it thru VM pro's vectorizor and thats what it traced out. tell me how to do it differently for the right file you want to see and i will. As for the choppy font thats in the font manager on VM pro, here it is.

I work a normal job and don’t remember the name of the font and will get it when I get home. I figured when I said I had upgraded to pro that it was obvious because you and couple others told where to go to get the discount on up grading. The picture I posted of the vector was 1080x720.

Actually I am very picky about what I make. I am just saying I have never had a problem with any text. Well until I upgraded to pro and used one of the fonts from font manager and it was unusable because it was so choppy and that was straight from the program.

Not sure if i am not doing what y'all are talking about but here is a text document i did in photoshop and took it into VM cut. Here it is after i vectorized it.

I have vinylmaster LTR now and want to upgrade to pro, anyone know if they will have a sale on the upgrade anytime soon? i have a email offering to upgrade for half price but its from febuary, would that still work?

Ok i upgraded to pro last night and cant seem to get the knife tool to be clickable so i can use it. Also i triedone of the fonts in font manager and it was really choppy looking, why would that be?

I have typed text in Photoshop around an image and exported it out of photoshop as a jpeg and it vectorized just fine.

I guess i might be talking about something different. I was talking about bringing in an image with text already with it.
