  1. Thanks, that seems to be popular went to a kinda local ( about 25 miles away) Vinyl shop she had siser some pretty glitter ones. she only sells by the sheet 12x24inches like $4 each not sure that's a good price or not. if i had something i wanted done ASAP i guess it be okay. I read on her facebook she does ship its a small shop looks to be mostly dedicated to those curciut and silhouette users as she had some assessors for those machines and lots of 12x24 sheets very tiny rolls about 6 inch wide by the yard is how she sells it
  2. Guess im just nervous on being able to line up whatever it is and getting it straight and in the right spot on the shirt... i don't think this press swings out of the way its got a bolt that moves up and down with the handle. dads had it for at least 10 years so its a older one.

All the videos i was finding on Utube was the cream.. Showed to the wife she thought was neat.. I'm not sure i would want to try the Sand or not. im sure you have really thick gloves on when messing with it.. the one guy said to wear a evaporator mask when doing it. does the cream way not hold up as well over time?

I was going to ask how they were made, I didn't think it was vinyl. unless it was the heat vinyl wasn't sure if you could heat transfer to a glass cup or not. We will be doing vinyl decals on mugs and glasses for family. I have seen they have heat transfer machines for doing heat transfer also.. Air compressor i have. sand blast cabinet i don't. What is that called doing that? nice Shirt

We just lost my Cousin Late Friday night. wish i had my cutter already I would make one for his mother. my aunt. he was a motorcycle rider rode in lots of rides for cancer and kids and stuff he will be missed by many. W.o me having to start another thread can someone recommend a good Heat t shirt transfer was looking at the Color Theory Primary 10 Color Heat Transfer Vinyl Kit is it any good, we want to make a shirt for my wifes sister for her bday and i like just make a few to practice remember my heat press is only a 9x12"

  9. Hello everyone, i am brand new to the site and to Vinyl cutters, I havn't purchased one yet but plan to in about 2 weeks ( waiting on income tax) I have watched a ton of videos and originally was going to buy a Circuit at Christmas but decided to keep looking. I have pretty much decided to buy a Silhouette Camor 3 ive downloaded software and been playing around making things with it. just using the basic version it wont read SVG files just basic ones. It will do 12 inches wide up to 10 foot long. i really can't see doing anything bigger then that unless i got big into doing decals for automobiles. I mostly want to do smaller Stickers for cars and be able to make signs for myself for Christmas and Halloween and such.. I really don't know if i could turn it into a real business or not it seems online there a ton of folks into this stuff but yet locally im not aware of many at all.. One reason i don't have signs made at shops is cause there are far apart where i live and I always fall over when i get a quote. years ago i could get a banner on my front Windshield for $25 installed now it seems more anyhow I plan to do make personal items for gifts my wife would most likely enjoy doing craft projects is another reason for the machine ive been looking at.. but everyone keeps saying to get at least a 24" machine but ive heard the MH from uscutter is the bottom line machine and not that great to get a Titan 2 well i cant afford to spend that much right now. I would like to keep it under $400 for everything machine, vinyl to get started maybe some material for making some t shirts for myself and the family. again I don't really plan to do anything huge.. And i figure if i ever did start making lot of stuff for saleing to others i could always let the wife have this one for crafts and small projects and i could buy a bigger one for bigger things. i see the SC series there a little more. but are they worth the extra money i know all of uscutter come with vinylmaster not sure how easy or hard it is to learn, i downloaded the basic of sure cuts a lot last night ans so far it seems pretty good its $50 to buy the license to use it. it is workable with these machines? ive posted on another site and wanted to post here and see what advice people here had.. thank you I see there isnt much talk in the MH section so guessing there really arn't many who own them..
  10. Thank you for your post, really thank you, I sometimes feel people push others to do what they do, I see it in my other hobbys as well.. I kinda felt like the SC2 should be fine for a while. heck if i really enjoy this hobby and get big into it and make money i can buy better later, and not sure how fast this hobby moves but if its like most of my hobbies im sure something like a titan 2 would be cheaper then it is now in a year or 2. Thanks again.
  11. Old post are you still around is is your machine still working? So this is the regular titan? not the 2.. From the date i guess the 2 wasn't out yet

  13. Oh LOL. I just was showing my mom the cutters online i watched a SC2 video then a titan 2 video WOW the titan 2 you cant even hear it doing anything you just see it working lol... I wish i could get the titan more i think about it but man that's a extra 200 just for the Regular Titan.. and I have to have money for vinyl in hopes i can sell something to make a lil money back.. its been over 6 months since ive had any income at all.
  14. Yeah, well seems like every hobby your in there is always a upgrade that can be made. everyone says the Servo cutters are less loud they would maybe be a big factor for me. as i plan to have it in my hobbyroom/bedroom and while its cutting watching tv might be a issue. but there is another bedroom i could roll it into if that becomes a issue. just wanted the cutter and my work table and all to be in the same room.
  15. oh wow.. that is a big machine.. and they cost as much as the cutter lol.. I did see a combo with a Cutter and a 15x15 press.
  16. Yeah. just learning something new, I need watch videos i guess. on how to make sure you get it centered and stuff
  17. Well i didn't mean signs, i ment car logs and decals and such. I will cut anything anyone wants to go on... Im just not sure about doing shirts. ive never done a Press of a shirt ive done car decals
  18. yeah, I seen that but they were out of stock still not sure if i want to buy refrub older SC one or the new SC2 one.

it was crazy cause sign back in today and everything was there. I know it says if you don't come back for 24 hours it will delete
  20. Thank you for your input, that is why i asked, alright as normally bigger is better LOL I guess i will use what i have and if i make any thing from my signs i will buy a bigger one.. yeah well since dads unable to do anything besides eat and sleep since his massive stroke he wont be using it.
  21. Thank you. and well thought i could use it for now, I have a friend wants some lettering on some shirts it should do that just fine. as we have shirts here we have made with it

Is the MH machines worth it?

Naw, I don't think so LOL.... ha ha no worse the any other group im a member of.. I have decided to go with the SC machine, One guy said is should buy the Refrub SC but im really wanting the SC2 I think its lil better from reading. I could save some buying refrub but kinda worried buying a Refrub unit. i have been talked into upgrading now twice. Imma be broke but hope it be worth it.
