its just the poor town i live in is why i say that. i know one facebook friend has a aunt who has a craft cutter so she gets her to do all her projects and i had one friend who might would want stuff but seems hes moved on to printed vinyl now. but no worries. this is something i've wanted since i was a teenager. plenty i can use it for. my dad always says buy good stuff and buy once, rather then buy junk and have to buy again later.

My local CL has No cutters listed at all and CL has gotten crazy over the years, we have had a few people end up missing and or dead from meeting folks off CL i trust facebook a little better but yeah within 100 miles of me there about 10 for sale right now well just looked another person has what looks to be a SC1 with a laptop for $600 i think he needs to come down on price by a lot maybe its a SC2 i wish people would put better info on there ads I always put as much as possible someone else has a titan 2 28" for $600 but says the USB on the machine is gone.. not sure what they did.. said the serial cord has a usb port on the end you plug into the PC sounds funny to me. there all far from me, a lady had a Silhoette camro 3 for sale for $100 was going to just get it so the wife have her own but it sold in like 5 mins, i always miss out on the great deals.

Not sure what they use, i just seen there are heat transfer looking machines for cups. I figured it was some sort of special heat transfer they were using.

Still plan on the SC2 from US cutter on Amazon cause no high shipping cost. just cause its got more memory and they say a lil better then the reg SC.. I have found 2) SC cutters on FB for sale but there both a hr and half drive away one wants $200 with a lil vinyl other wants $180 with just the cutter. Few others on fb for sale but there mostly us cutters. If i could find someone selling a used SC2 i might get it but honestly i'm not very confident i will be able to make any or much money with my cutter but i do like to have new stuff. Ive been selling some my Radio control stuff i dont use and was able to order Black,white,green,red,brilliant blue rolls of 12"x6ft rolls last night. still plan to order the combo pack from us cutter when i get my money its got the 631 and 651 24"x5foot rolls its got white,red,king blue,green,black of 651 and pink,turquoise,mint,brown,gold of the 631 should be enough to get me started.. ive got a ton of signs i want to make myself So many things keep popping into my head. I also plan on ordering some green and black HTV to make a t shirt for my wifes sister for her bday. I was going to buy some red,white,pink htv from a local shop whos having a sale on it all 3 for $9.50 but she never told me how much with shipping. its 25 miles one way to her shop i was just there on sat but the sale started today.

well it let me put in 240 inches but it sure is small on the screen i know you can blow it up. i was just wondering. I don't plan on doing anything longer then maybe 3 feet

Oh, so it would be the program not the cutter. i know it lets you put in custom cut mat sizes.

How long can these machines cut? I know the Camero 3 can do up to 10 foot. so i would guess these larger machines could do even longer not sure why you would want to, unless you was putting logs on side of a 18 wheeler trailer.

I plan to get oracal 631/651/751 to start with and like to know what transfer tape should i get. i'm a little confused i see some that say Ultra Clear 1310 Medium Tack Transfer is that the same thing? my vinyl will be 24" but do i need tape that is 24" or would 12" be fine? Thanks

WOW that is insane... I guess that is how you can roll living in Cali... Out here most are retired folks in the town i live in, but i do live within 25 miles of a few other surrounding towns that have people with more money and still work daily. That is why im not sure about this stuff making the $. I keep seeing more and more Decal people pop up on facebook the past 2 weeks but i have a feeling most of those are small 12 inch machine operators. cause its just small 6-8 inch decals Ive not seen anything big out of them. Just found out about 2 local shops, again they deal in small 12x12 or 12x14 material only Oracal 651 or lower. Thank you for the advice and I get what your saying. Thanks for the tip. I will have to try that. I guess if i can make a lil off some decals and stickers i will put that money towards a 15x15 Press a lil bigger and one that swings maybe be easier to work with.

She is loving designing stuff on the Sure cuts a lot demo.. I just hope the sure cuts a lot V4 will do everything the demo is letting me do since the demo is the Pro v4 When i downloaded wasn't sure witch one to download just wanted to try one lol. didn't realize at the time the V4 pro was $200.00 The MasterVinyl that comes with the SC2 might be a great program but so far ive not had as much luck with it.

Thanks, I know once the shirts are made it should last... The shirts my father used to make said to make sure you turn them inside out to wash for the first few washes are these like that? I am sorry for all the newbie questions im just someone who like to know as much as I can before jumping into something.. My wife kinda put pressure on me she came up with a shirt design for her sister for her Bday witch is in March lol its going to be 2 Colors, its words with a Lucky charm in the center. her bday is on Saint pattys day.

Well we don't use a dishwasher. Ive never lived anywhere with one. Remember i live in the South ( georgia) there is one in my parents house but my parents think there a waste of water so its never been used its full of, whatever lol. If i did cups for people i would tell them not to dish wash them or it could fade. or peel. not sure how well the heat transfer cups and all do.. have to look into them.

Oh wow.. Is there a such thing as popular colors? I would think Black and white mostly but then im sure lots want off the wall colors. how long does the heat transfer last as long its in a ac/heat controlled room.. Also anything else i need to do the shirts? isn't there some kinda paper thing you have to put over the vinyl to press it to the shirt what is proper name

oh wow, I notice on the bottle it said can burn your skin and they recommenced to wear gloves. maybe I should stick with Vinyl.
