Yeah, like buying a used car you could just be buying someones else's problems i guess. besides motherboard not sure what all can go wrong with a Cutter. belt i guess could brake or the servo go out that drives the cutter. Not sure these things wear out, other then blades witch need replacing normally anyways.. Can someone tell me what the two different blades are for with just regular 631,651,751 wouldn't i use the same blade?

I know... and those are both the save and open options.. under regular Save as and open... the things for export and inport are driffrent.. darcshadow said not to export just to save as for what i was trying to do.

So i was trying to figure out how many Sq foot will be in my rolls of Vinyl I just ordered. I ordered 12"x6foot rolls of Oracal 751 trying to look online 1 sq foot is 12"x12" right or 144 sq inches? so how would i figure out how much is in my 12 inch wide by 6 foot long. you need to know the sq foot then to know how many is in it to figure out how much per Sq foot you have correct? Talked to the Post office lady today and looks like cheapest i could ship a 5"x8" decal would be $3.50 cause that would be in a padded envelope with tracking.. Or she said if i wasn't worried about tracking i could use a regular envelope type and mail for $1 cheaper. I don't know how much shipping i will do but might do some.. I'm thinking to charge a min of $4 for shipping, The envelopes cost me $1 for 2 of them from dollar tree. At first I was thinking for a small 5" or 6"X 6" or 10" decal just charging something like $10.00 but looking online not sure that is any where close. Was thinking a bigger one 12"x12" up to maybe a 12"x24" (this would be for smaller lettering) charging something like maybe $25 these are just numbers off top my head. If someone wanted Huge 12 inch letters for something and long i would charge more.I'm not sure any of you give discounts the more people order or maybe you charge more cause takes longer to weed out more stickers? I seen couple posts where people said they add in a Hourly rate on how long it takes them to do the design, cut them,weed them and have them ready.. I guess we should be charging for our designing part also. however i do plan to just make some neat sayings and things and anyone who wants those i will have already to just cut and sell. T shirts i want to do but not sure at all how to do those. Do most just let people give them the shirts and just charge for doing them or do you buy the shirts and charge more for the total price. thanks for any input im sure i will get all sorts of replys.

Thanks, yes i do have a hobbylobby kinda close, its close to the Home depot/lowes and other stores i have to drive 20 miles to get to lol

Thanks, i tried that first and it wouldn't open. Maybe since i don't have the full version yet but it will only open a few files. here is a screen shot of what ones it will open and i dont see none of those on the save as in inkscape

Do you know why when i export my file and i import it in vinylmaster only one part of my image is showing up? like i designed my logo in it and it only showed the cross. witch is the last thing i added to it. thanks

Yeah, and i don't understand how they can give you SCAL with a refrub lowered price unit like that.. if i got that one it only be because of the software. but i really want the SC2. cause I don't see myself being able to pay off what im buying upfront and saving enough for something like the titan 2 for 2-3 years at least. there is a CE5000-60 for sale on my local Facebook there asking $600 someone told me i should make him show me it working and buy it. i don't have that much to put into one and it looks to be the BMW of cutters i looked up parts the board is $300 i can't afford prices like that.

This is the heat press my father has, it took me a few to dig it out of the closet but i found the name on it.. i see now most have Digital LCD displays for the heat that is lot nicer this one only has a dial on it but this is it https://www.coastalbusiness.com/hix-hobby-lite-swing-away-heat-press-machine-9-x-12-hl-912-s.html I found a Cheap one on uscutter for like $119 not sure it be any better? this one is still up there in price $300.. But doesn't have the LCD screen thanks

As i understand you should be able to save it as anything you like. Don't know what program your using. There is always screenprint and use paint paste,cut,save Don't ask me how i figured this out.. that is if you dont need to edit it and just want it as a jpeg

Why do you think sells went down on those sites? I do not know much about ETSY never used it.. I know ive sold items i wanted to get rid of on ebay but got sick of there fees they charged even when i didn't sell my item. i still buy on it quite often. Im new and still not cut my first decal yet but plan to post on Facebook, my friends and hope maybe word will get around. I plan to have logo on my truck also hope some will see it. and contact me
