I have been cutting for about a month and my paper is starting to lift up in some cuts. Is this potentially because I have to replace the blade? Also, what are the different angles of different blades for? ALOHA!

So I just used the test function and just played with adjusting it till it worked. Is this the proper way or is there an easier way. It took me like 8 tests. -
First time adjusting/loading blade and am lost

I am a newbie and have no idea how I am supposed to adjust/load the blade. Can anyone help me? -
I've uploaded it here as a jpg so you don't have to download it. I think. No worries, I use a mac, no viruses on the file. The jpg was retraced and drawn in inkscape. I deleted the original off of the inkscape canvas so that only the outline I drew was visible.

I am trying to import a file that I drew in inkscape to signcut but can't seem to do it properly. The negative space doesn't show. I drew it in inkscape then import it and it shows without the cutout on the bottom. Can anyone help me? 25.svg 25.svg

I am on the verge of choosing the program to run with and am between these two. Does anybody have any advice as to the better product? Does the free version of sign cut pro that is supposed to come with the copam2500 run on mac or do you need to get some kind of upgrade?

What is the 9 pin male on the cp2500 used for?
-
My CP2500 came with a 25? pin cable and not the 9 pin cable. I assume I can just pick up a 9 pin from Radio Shack or something? Hawaii is great all year round and if you come out here I have a couch you can sleep on. Moving towards the flexistarter.

I have been looking at the keyspans and they seem to have a male connection. So does the CP2500. How do I connect the two? Here is the link to the keyspan I am looking at: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Keyspan-High-Speed-USB-Serial-Adapter-USA-19HS-/120420154018?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c0999baa2 Also what do you think is the best software to use? I am thinking either Flexi Starter 8.5 for mac or Sign Cut Pro. I also have Adobe Illustrator.

Howzit from Hawaii! Just got my CP-2500 and will be using these forums to figure this thing out. Using a mac for now, would like to keep it that way. See you in the forums. Aloha KP
