I agree 100%. I paid for the use licence, and for me, 4.2 has been great for 6 years. I want to keep using it on a new computer. If I deactivate, then can't re-activate, now what? Like I said, I'm just checking on the proper way to transfer before I screw something up, that's all.

This does not sound good. I have Pro 4.2 which I want to install on a new computer. I'm glad I checked before I tried the switch. I have two other programs which require a licensed thumb drive be installed in order for the software to be used. Pretty simple. Looks like I'm gonna pull the old hard drive out and install in the new unit. Ya gotta love wasting hours on something you paid for.

I am using VinylMaster Pro and US Cutter model SC25. This is not a huge deal, I can live with it, but maybe there is an adjustment I am missing. The finished cut size is always larger than what I have designed/specified in VinylMaster. It basically cuts everything about 3/16" per foot larger both width and height. If I layout a box say, 18" x 48" I can count on it being cut about 18-1/2" x 49". I've lived with this for 3 years so like I said not a big deal. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Got it, Thanks. So the grid settings are program wide? Not a different grid setting for different files?

I'm trying to change the grid size - and snap to - to a 1/4 inch. Tried to change to something other than 1/2 inch, it won't change. Changed to 1/4 inch in settings, nothing happens. Closed and restarted program, setting still say 1/4 inch but nothing changed - it's still 1/2 inch. I must be missing something.

I found it. Reveal/Hide advanced tools. It's the little blue arrow on the top toolbar. Thanks.

Using the pick tool and the text tool. Cut, Copy, Paste are all available if I select EDIT, I used to have 3 nice buttons that stayed on all the toolbars.

Just upgraded from VinylMaster Cut to Pro. I can't find the correct toolbar or setting to make these icons show up on the toolbar. Thanks!
