Hello, I've just installed Cutting Master 4 to use with Adobe Illustrator and it keeps freezing Illustrator and not sending the job. I've tried it on both CS6 and on CC and it keeps doing the same thing. Can anyone help please? Thanks MM

That falls under the Journey not the destination that matters type of out look. Happy travels and we look forward to the follow up. Most of us do our journey via the other forum members so it’s all good stuff.

The designs that I cut are very detailed at most times. I use a 60 degree blade all the time on regular sign vinyl 2.5-3 mil. And I cut almost every day.

I use a 60 degree blade for everything - I found years ago that it did much better on fine detailed work than the 45 degree blades and that is what we specialized in so I transitioned to 60's for everything and haven't looked back

Your welcome. But you should not need 2 passes to cut 2 mil vinyl. Add a little force. First make sure you set your blade depth correctly. And only cut what you can weed at 1 time. Because you are correct, vinyl will self heal. This is correct way to set your blade depth. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the blade holder.

I always thought the adapter provided the proper null wiring output, but I realize now that is incorrect, my bad.
