Hi, Therese at SignCut here. I just want to check in and let you know that a new website has been launched. I hope you find information easier on this website then the old one. @gpau, did you manage to set your cutter up with SignCut? If not please visit our livechat and we can help you through a remote session. @Wildgoose. In the image you can see two ways to contact us on our website. If you don't find them there are other ways for example sending an email at support@signcutpro.com or if you prefer visit our Facebook and send us a message there and a support request is also created. Have a good day all of you. Regards, Therese

Do you have the work for a 52" machine or do you want it because it's big and within your budget, or for the wow factor? Do you have the space for it and a work area big enough to weed and apply the transfer tape, much less laying it down in one pass? I would get a higher end machine, and save yourself a lot of aggravation in the long run. Plus the fact that those big rolls of vinyl can get expensive, not to mention the waste (and shrinkage from laying around because of not being used) if you only need a much smaller decal. Just my 2 cents...

You can open up your files in AI and it's all good, right? This might be a total shot in the dark, but worth trying at this point. Go back and open up the file, then do a Save As (or Save a copy) and select .eps, and in Version, select something really low - like Illustrator; or as an .svg of VW can import .svg files. There are bits of information and embedding that might be happening in the newer versions of AI that VW just doesn't like. I run into it all the time. Give it a go, it couldn't hurt to try at this point.
