I have and used SCALP 4 all the time for design, but the easiest way I have found to do this is: Type the text Right click on the text, Select "Break Apart" If you have a letter that has a center to it like A, O, B etc. Left click the center of the letter then hold "shift" click the rest of the letter then use the back minus front option on the "path" drop down menu on the top. Or go under the "effects" tab and select "knockout" then pull the knock out section and delete it. Select all the text after you have all the "knockouts" done and hold "Alt" then "U" (or from the path menu select Union) which unions all the interior parts to the rest of the letter. Then right click and select "Group" Now your text should cut like you are needing. Hope this helps

Thanks. I haven't looked at vector/clipart designs on USCutter for a very long time.

https://www.engadget.com/2018/09/01/corporate-logo-font-typeface-digital-studio A digital studio called Hello Velocity has created a typeface that embraces well-known corporate logos. I disagree with their choice of "h" --- but I don't know what else they could have chosen. Maybe Hasbro? (the toy & game company).

trying to use any markings will drive you crazy - best way is to jog the vinyl back and forth - noting which way it is drifting and adjust the vinyl, repeat until it runs true. most of the old timers on here use this method even on our expensive cutters rather than using "marks, rulers" or other short cuts that are less reliable. lots of people have made enough money with the mh cutters to upgrade but they do require a lot more fiddling to get decent cuts than better plotters - the reason most of us on the forum recommend the better plotters. but price sells and the cheapest sells a lot of cutters - every company has one bottom plotter that people buy on price and they all have similar issues - but they can be made to work with patience

I don't know why you would say that Vinyl Master wouldn't run a GCC Expert, The non USCutter version has the drivers listed on it. Sure it will run it. Purchase from Vinyl Master site. Vinyl Master can run hundreds of different vinyl cutters. It's like any cutter you have to learn how to operate the buttons on it. They all have to have the blade set, force and speed just like any cutter. Go search for the user manual for it online.

If you are running night and day I think I'd figure out how to get some funding help and get yourself a name brand cutter. I would suggest a CE5000 or CE6000 Graphtec (even though I do not own one myself) They are probably the most notable and reliable cutters at their price point. I run a Summa that is another thousand over the CE and had to go get a small loan to get it. I paid it off in a single season without that much effort. Even a Titan you might work into the ground if you are running as hard as you sound.
