I do mostly signs 4ftx8ft or larger, banners, Coro signs and lighted signs I never got into cutting small decals. The signage is only like part time addition to my handyman business also I install for other sign companies so I try not to compete against them.

Dad and uncle's soon to be open brewery is in an old water treatment building. Been making all the vinyl for it over the last few months. Gave me a reason to upgrade from my 16" MC to a 36" SC2. Even reverse weeded to use as stencil to paint the logos onto an old tank he set up in the front. The little water tower is a replica of the town's. That one is about 2" layered, that was fun.

Still a great shipping charge for small operators..a lot don’t order enough for the free shipping at one time. Pioneer sign supply has been bought out by grimco and have halted deliveries to or neck of the woods by company trucks now only by freight, ups etc so more of my business will go to our local supplier Mumpower signs in Bristol Va. a short drive from my Southern West Virginia base or they still deliver here. But us cutter still beats almost everyone on vinyl so the slight up charge in delivery is negligible.

Yes, tons of people make small decals, there is no money in it. Unless your selling 100 plus every day. Your killing yourself doing that. If you look on Ebay, People are selling dirt cheap,, 99 cents and free shipping, can you compete with that? My most popular decals run from $50- $125.. a set. I only have to sell a few a week. not 100's a day. What most people are selling as far as $5.00 decals, That is my scrap. So those would be free to me, but I let the cheap Ebay sellers mess with that stuff, waste of my time.

Free Shipping on orders over $199.00 sounds great, but I just went onto the USCUTTER website and tried to calculate the weight & shipping for 2 rolls of 24" x 150' and the 'Shipping Calculator' (blue text link in the checkout cart) fails to work.
