I don't see your reasoning.............. Why waste your time with 2 cutters. If you want to upgrade "UPGRADE" to a cutter you're going to be happy with. 1 that'll do everything you want. Small -> Large vinyl. I hear they you want to upgrade but you don't really want to upgrade if you're still planning on using the titan. You're going to get the baby graphtec and see how well it works and wish you had just bitten the bullet and bought the CE6000-60. Trust me.

CleanCut blades arrived yesterday. WOW. In a properly organized society every cutter would come straight from the factory with these. What a difference. I went from 185 grams of force to cutting with 75g and I can cut fine detail I never dreamed of before. It's like I upgraded my cutter for $18. Here is the same picture I posted before of Oracal 631 at 100mm/sec with the 45 blade that came with this LPII on the left. On the right is same setup with a CleanCut 60. I counted seven places where the vinyl had slightly lifted and they all sat back down with a little nudge from my fingernail. A huge Thank You to everyone who suggested these blades over and over, I'm just sorry it took me so long to make the switch!

I messed around with the "Cut" version for 6 months or so and it drove me nuts. Most of the things I wanted to do either couldn't be done or took way to many steps. So I'd have Inkscape and VM open and be transferring things back and forth. It wasn't smooth or intuitive. As a last ditch effort before scrapping VM I upgraded to PRO....world of difference. I almost never open Inkscape any more. Pro is a really well thought out program. Just the time I've saved by having the curved text tool has paid for it. Pull up one of their videos on the "cut file" and watch how it can save you a ton of time and vinyl. Rather than sending items one at a time to the cutter, you can send them all to the "cut files" and then after you have a bunch of designs ready you send each cut file to the cutter. So all my black 651for the day gets cut at once, load up yellow and have it cut the yellow cut file, and then move on to the next color. Without sounding like an advertisement, Pro restored my faith in VM and has made cutting a lot less tedious.

Ditch Artcut, too many complaints about it not working. try Signblazer which is a FREE permanent trial. Go down to the last post on this thread for a download at Slice n Dice post. It should just start downloading after clicking it. Then try the REDSAIL cutter for set up. That is the one that is being used for the UScutter MH series cutters. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/54659-signblazer-has-stopped-working-claims-to-be-a-virus/

Also see how far the nearest competitor is. I already have 2 more clients because they do not want to drive 23 miles away to pick up/have product installed. They are a bit cheaper but i am closer, more convenient, lead time is shorter, and I don't even have my equipment here yet(will be delivered tomorrow)! LOL People are willing to pay for convenience, speed, and in most cases quality. It is all how you market yourself and never ever bash another business as some clients will see that as a turn off. I know that from an IT business I ran and had a competitor bad mouth me because of my prices, they went out of business, I did not until I sold it and moved.

Thank you Guest Future Support! That was it! I recently configured it for dual monitor so I could stream to my TV. As soon as I disabled that monitor (my TV) it fixed it. Crazy. I would have never thought of that.

Assess your hard cost first - how much the vinyl and app tape is going to cost you. Your client may have files for you to use, but are they vector? and do they require some clean-up? because that will add time to either vectorize and/or clean-up. "Big" is relative. You can check out this thread, where another member had pricing concerns as well:

Just scroll down thru the section your in, there is nothing written in stone on pricing, and it all depends on your area. Your time, your expertise, labor, the materials that your using.. Call around your area. Make a profit.. I never use pricing for what others have up and I don't change my pricing because others are cheaper. I have a professional vinyl cutter, I am not going to price my products lower, because some one uses a value cutter, and cheap vinyl.
